👉Almost 30% of the global population is affected by non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.

Fatty liver can further progress to more serious stages like Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis that involves 
1. Inflammation
2. Liver scarring 
3. Cirrhosis 

Research has shown a strong association of non-alcoholic fatty liver with

Hypothyroidism and vitamin D deficiency - is there a correlation?

Recent studies have shown a correlation between autoimmune Hashimoto’s thyroiditis (one of the commonest forms of hypothyroidism) and vitamin D deficiency. 

👉 People with vitamin D deficiency have higher antithyroid peroxidase (antiTPO antibodies) levels, increasing the likelihood of developing autoimmune hypothyroidism in the future.

✅ Correcting those vitamin D deficiencies has shown a reduction in antiTPO antibody levels. 

👉 25% of patients already suffering from autoimmune hypothyroidism were found to be deficient in vitamin D, as compared to 20% of the control group.

If you are suffering from autoimmune hypothyroidism, consider getting sufficient amount of vitamin D through
✅ Sunlight exposure or 
✅ Supplements. 

👍Consult a physician and consider getting your thyroid profile tested if advised.

How to know if you have personal poor boundaries:
- Apologising even when it is not your mistake just to keep peace
- Attaching too much importance and forming your self concept on the opinion of others
- Feeling guilty about taking time out for yourself or making yourself a priority
- Avoiding confrontation
- Constantly trying to please others for a fear of letting them down
It’s perfectly okay rather it’s a necessity to take a stand for yourself and have personal boundaries for the sake of your own mental health and well being.

If you’re fit or lean people tend to assume that you have some sort of a genetic advantage that they don’t!
And you get away with eating anything without gaining any weight!
Several people love to sympathise with themselves and hold the environment responsible in some ways or the other to make themselves feel better.
Others can’t help but judge.
Before you credit someone’s fitness to genetics-give this simple thing a thought: It takes hard work consistency and discipline to even consistently maintain anything in life .
Consistency is the key not genetics!
