This kitchen garden was set up in Morjim in 2019, with a special structure designed for an enclosure to keep away destructive visits by monkeys. It has been feeding the family that tends it, ever since. It was their oasis and source of nourishment through the pandemic.
"The Krishnabhai garden at Ashtanga Yoga Morjim by Yogita not only fulfilled the goal to create an homage to my grandmother who loved the land with her whole heart, it superseded it. We are immensely thankful."
In it's fifth year, the garden has grown, in more ways than one, with more land that is now under cultivation.
