begun on at Community Science Centre Vadodara. These fifteen years have seen many people participating in various activities proposed under Vaho Vishwamitri Abhiyan. The purpose of the Abhiyan was to bring awareness among people for rejuvenation of the river Vishwamitri. Our workshops should not be mistaken to bring in green revolution as its more of making partiicpants learn how to prepare seedball, how to release it, what kinds of various seeds look like etc. It is more for the awareness rather than changing landscape, as it is carried in urban areas. Cyrtophora, the tent-web spiders, is a genus of orb-weaver spiders (Described by Eugène Simon in 1895). Although they belong to "orb weaver" family, but they do not build orb webs. Their tent-like, highly complex non-sticky web is sometimes considered a precursor of the simplified orb web. These webs are aligned horizontally, with a network of supporting threads above them. These spiders often live in colonies. Females have a body length of mostly about 1.00cm long. Some members, including Cyrtophora cicatrosa, exhibit the ability to change colour rapidly. (Wikipedia).

Peter Forsskål was born in Helsinki, (1732, Finland) then a part of Sweden, lived 31 years and died due to Malaria in Yarin (1763, Yemen). He was Carl Linnaeus's disciple in Uppsala. He also studied with the orientalist Carl Aurivillius. Aurivillius and the Göttingen orientalist Johann David Michaelis are the reason for Forsskål's travel to the University of Göttingen in 1753; he studied Oriental languages and Philosophy and completed a doctorate there with a dissertation entitled Dubia de principiis philosophiae recentioris (“Doubts Concerning the Principles of Modern Philosophy" 1756). Returned to Uppsala in 1756, he wanted to pursue studies in economics.

In November 1759, he published a political pamphlet called, in Swedish, Tankar om borgerliga friheten (Thoughts on civil liberty). As it advocated complete freedom of the press, it was at the time controversial and was consequently suppressed by the authorities on the day of publication. The pamphlet was censored by the "Hats" government and caused him to be warned by the Royal Chancellery.

On Michaelis's recommendation, and with Linnaeus's approval, Forsskål was appointed (1760) by Frederick V of Denmark to join, amongst others, the orientalist and mathematician Carsten Niebuhr on an expedition to Arabia. The group first went to Egypt where they stayed for about a year, with Forsskål pursuing studies in Arabic dialects, and arrived in South Arabia (Arabia Felix, present-day Yemen) at the end of December 1762. Forsskål worked hard on collecting botanical and zoological specimens, but fell ill with malaria and died in July 1763. He was buried at night in Yarim, Yemen.

Linnaeus mourned the death of his young student and named one of the plants Forsskål had sent home Forsskaolea tenacissima because the plant was as stubborn and persistent as the young man had been.

Forsskål's companion Niebuhr, who was the only one of the participants to survive the expedition, was entrusted with the care of editing his manuscripts, and published in 1775 in which for the first time this herb named Cynoglossum lanceolatum Forssk. is mentioned. Found from sea-level to 2300 meters from Côte d'Ivoire to Ethiopia, south to South Africa, Madagascar, the Arabian Peninsula, Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Nepal, eastward to China and Malaysia.
