Embracing the vibrant spirit of Diwali at Arpan, our latest session was a joyous flashback to the brilliance we created together! A unique fashion show unfolded a celebration of our beautiful children and the unwavering support from their incredible parents. Our goal was to honor these parents and acknowledge their continuous belief in their exceptional children. It's a resounding affirmation: "Yes, my child is truly special, able, and my pride!"

And we’re at Ajwa Fun World water park!!! Yes, an exhilarating day for each one of us as we watched our overjoyed children dive into this world of adventure and exploration in the waters. It was an absolute sensory-rich experience for them.

We are so grateful to the management of Ajwa Fun World N Water Park Baroda for arranging such a well thought-out trip for our beneficiaries. The first time ever for most of the children at a water park, it sure is to remain a lifelong memory for them. After all the fun in the rides they were treated to a delicious meal.
The beauty was while saying their good-byes each one of them wanted to shake hands and give a Jhappi to Shri Rahilji and his staff who had received them with open arms to their park packed with fun and thrills!

Happy to be part of one of the most ennobling and thrilling events of town…CONNECT - CSR Mela where we also witnessed the MOCK SHARK TANK 2.0 🙌 Organised by FICCI FLO Vadodara

It was such a delight to watch the Sharks - wise, sharp-witted and above all absolutely generous. Feeling overjoyed for all those organisations who could garner the fundings to carry on their good work for the needy.

Thank you Ms. Barkha Amin, Ms Madhavi Agrawal and all the organisers of the event for this brilliant opportunity to put forth the work of all us NGOs striving to give a better life to those in our care.

She came to us a few months back. Is a three year old CP child who had delayed developmental milestones - Motor and Cognitive.
As shared by her overjoyed mother- as of today she is able to hold herself up with slight support, has started gripping things and also putting her little hands together for clapping, has developed eye contact and Boy!! Now that's an achievement! Kudos fpr your untiring efforts ❤

Taking the 'dis' out of the word, all we showcase is our 'ability'! Arpan marathoners at the Vadodara Marathon.

Our Christmas just got Merrier with these extremely talented students of Arpan bringing home the much coveted trophy. Gaining the 3rd position at the All Gujarat Dance Championship, they made us proud!

You will never know enough because knowledge is inexhaustible... This is the very feeling we got when Ms. Vandana Patel of 'Teacher Talks Academy' associated with us and took a truly enriching staff-session sharing important life lessons and anecdotes. Thank you Ms. Vandana for bringing in this very important aspect of 'Teacher Talks' to Arpan. We look forward to many more such sessions with you!

Music is to the soul what words are to the mind...As just a sound stimulus, it has the power to deeply touch the mind and body. It stimulates the senses, evokes multiple feelings and emotions and energizes the mind.
We at Arpan saw a heartwarming transformation for a complete 2 hours when Ms. Komal Bijani and group performed live for our Children at the centre. It was therapeutic not only for our students but even the staff members who have a huge responsibility in handling our special-needs children on a daily basis.
Feeling grateful for such kind volunteers who come and take our work a step ahead. Heartfelt thanks to Ms. Komal Bijani, Ms. Alka Patel, Shri Shailesh Shinde, Shri Paresh Kotwani, Shri Jayesh Nagar.

Each and every child gets involved in this activity of Diya Making and in making paper bags for packing the same. The centre, for these past 2 months, has been abuzz amidst all the other celebrations. This activity of Diya making is close to each one's heart at Arpan be it the children, the educators, the therapists or the the other staff.... The result is these beautiful diyas they make available to you.

During the Garba dance hour on a traditional wear day at work yesterday, we created an opportunity for our employees to contribute to the community. The LEI CSR trustees invited Arpan Charitable trust, performing a noble cause by working for and with differently-abled people in society, to set up a stall for the items like diyas made by their students/inmates. With these celebrations as an organization, we become more united and powerful.

"Expressing my creativity through My own Ganesha!"

Each one of our children made their very own Ganesha to ring in the Festival at Arpan. By the end of it we had numerous playful looking Ganeshas of clay in myriad colors and sizes.
The activity was conducted efficiently by students of the Department of HDFS and students of the Social Work faculty placed at Arpan.
We wish that the divine light of Sri Ganesha fills your life with everything happy and beautiful just like those smiles on our Children's faces!

Thank you Ms. Laksha V Shah for making this possible by providing each of our children with individual clay kits.

Corona virus has prevented our staff from coming in contact with the children. These special children can’t be expected to have a prolonged attention span online.
So, the rest of the time, they keep themselves occupied, making masks, maintenance and our favourite, quizzing.
Yes, we organised a quiz on our city of VADODARA.
Buildings, old and new, roads leading to important landmarks, eminent personalities.
