Corporate team of AdVik Cricket Club became champions of FRIENDSHIP CUP 2022. Boys played amazing cricket throughout tournament sweeping all big awards too.

1) Krunal Prajapati became best bowler of the tournament.

2) sharik Pathan became man of the series.

Proud of this new team who became champions in their first tournament as a team.

Another victory in U12 tournament confirms our place in quarter-finals. Congratulations to team, AdVik staff specially coaches for preparing kids to perform at such a young age.

Amazing arrangements and management by for efficiently conducting 25 teams tournament of kids. Food, umpiring, grounds, scoring and awarding performances, everything is up to the mark and of high quality. Kudos to our association.

Our U12 heroes performed well and won first match of tournament. It was a clinical performance and I would like to mention few stars.

Harshwardhan turned the match with his bat and received well deserved man of the match. Krishna, Yash and Neel bowled very economical and took regular wickets.

Over all a good all-round performance and congratulations to players and coach Krunal Prajapati.

According to Sachin Tendulkar, what’s key in South Africa is the front foot defense of the batsman. When a batsman is solid onto the front foot and isn’t really throwing his hands at the ball for the first 25 overs with the new ball, he gives himself a chance to play a long innings. The problem starts when the batsman starts chasing the balls away from his body. It’s impossible to have any sort of control when the ball is seaming around and the batsman is playing away from the body.

Sachin Tendulkar stressed the point when a batsman is looking to play the line of the ball close to his body, it’s very possible that he will be beaten a few times because of the movement of the ball, but as long as he is not trying anything extravagant and is sticking to his method, he will reap the rewards of it, as Rohit and Rahul reaped in England.

Tendulkar scored 5 hundreds in South Africa in 15 test matches he played there and averaged 46.44 with the bat, which is a remarkable average for an Asian batsman in those conditions.

It amazes us how this 7-8 years old kids are showing so much promise. Hitting big 50s against kids of double their age by showing so much maturity and game sense is really commendable.

Starting cricket coaching in early age makes them already a winner as they have few extra years to play professional cricket compared to their peers. We, at AdVik Cricket Club always insist young talent to start coaching as early as possible. And playing regular matches gives them grooming and match sense that they need.

A lifter is not a bouncer. It is not a ball that rises as a result of how short it has been bowled. A lifter is a ball that bounces much higher than physics would suggest it should. It can be result of bad wicket.

You watch a bouncer and you deal with a bouncer. You suffer a lifter. Many batsman suffer injury because of lifter.
