PM Modi to inaugurate Okha-Beyt Signature Bridge in Gujarat on February 25
Dwarka (Gujarat): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the Signature Bridge between Okha and Beyt in the pilgrimage site of Dwarka on February 25.
The bridge, spanning 2.5 kilometers, holds immense signficance for both local residents and pilgrims visiting the revered Temple. It is being built for approximately ₹978 crore.
The construction of the bridge, initiated by the Centre in 2017 with a groundbreaking ceremony, aims to facilitate easier access for devotees commuting between Okha and Bet Dwarka. Prior to the bridge's construction, pilgrims had to rely on boat transport to reach the Dwarkadhish Temple in Beyt, Dwarka.
The Signature Bridge boasts a unique design, featuring a footpath adorned with verses from the Bhagavad Gita and images of Lord Krishna on both sides. It also holds the distinction of being India's longest cable-stayed bridge, with solar panels installed on the upper portions of the footpath, generating one megawatt of electricity.

Gujarat govt allows 🍺 🍹liquor consumption in GIFT City Gandhinagar for employees, visitors

Gujarat government has granted permission for the consumption of liquor in hotels, restaurants, and clubs offering "Wine and Dine" services in the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT), a notification issued
The liquor access permit will be issued to all employees and owners working in GIFT City, allowing them to consume liquor in establishments providing "Wine and Dine" services. Additionally, authorised visitors of each company are permitted to consume liquor in these establishments, provided they are in the presence of permanent employees and have temporary permit.
Hotels, restaurants, and clubs in GIFT City can obtain an FL3 licence for the Wine and Dine facility. While officially working employees and visitors of GIFT City are allowed to consume liquor in these establishments, these places cannot sell liquor bottles, according to the government notice.
The entire process, including monitoring and control over the import, storage, and serving of liquor by FL3 licensed establishments in GIFT City, will be overseen by the Narcotics and Excise Department, said the notification.
Situated along the banks of the Sabarmati river, GIFT City is a business district under construction between Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Functioning as a hub for cross-border financial services, GIFT City boasts cutting-edge infrastructure, inviting both Indian and international financial institutions to establish units within its premises.

માત્ર ચાર વર્ષની ઉંમરથી જ ટ્રેકિંગ શરૂ કર્યું, અનેક વખત માઉન્ટના જંગલોમાં, અરવલ્લીના કેદારનાથ સહિતના પહાડો સર કર્યા,

પાલનપુરની છ વર્ષની નિક્ષા બારોટ એ ભર શિયાળાની કડકડતી ઠંડીમાં બરફ વર્ષા વચ્ચે 12,500 ફૂટની ઊંચાઈએ કેદારકંઠા ટ્રેક સર કરી ત્રિરંગો લહેરાવ્યો છે. લોકલ માર્કેટમાં વોટર પ્રુફ શૂઝ ન મળવા છતાં હિંમત હાર્યા વગર બાળકી ઠંડી સહન કરી કપરા ચઢાણ ચઢી હતી.
માત્ર ચાર વર્ષની ઉંમરથી જ ટ્રેકિંગ શરૂ કરનાર નેક્ષીએ અત્યાર સુધી અનેક વખત માઉન્ટના જંગલોમાં ટ્રેકિંગ કરવા ઉપરાંત અરવલ્લીના કેદારનાથ સહિતના પહાડો સર કર્યા છે. બાળકીના પિતા બાળકોના ઘડતર માટે નેચર સ્ટડી કાર્યક્રમો કરે છે. અત્યાર સુધી 10 હજારથી વધુને નેચર સ્ટડી કરાવી, હવે પોતાની દીકરીને નાની ઉમરમાં મેડલ અપાવવા મથામણ કરી રહ્યો છે.
પાલનપુરની સ્કૂલ ઓફ સાયન્સમાં યુકેજીમાં અભ્યાસ કરતી છ વર્ષની નિક્ષાએ અત્યંત કપરી ચડાઈ મનાતી કેદાર કંઠા ટોપ સર કર્યો છે. કેદારકંઠા ફોરેસ્ટ વિભાગના જણાવ્યા અનુસાર વિન્ટર ટ્રેકમાં છ વર્ષની આયુમાં ટ્રેક સર કરનાર નિક્ષા પહેલી છે. તેના પિતા નિલેશ બારોટ એડવેન્ચર ટ્રેનર છે અત્યાર સુધી 10,000 થી વધુ લોકો ને નેચર સ્ટડી અંતર્ગત તાલીમ આપી ચૂક્યા છે. નિલેશ બારોટએ જણાવ્યું કે " દહેરાદૂન થી આઠ કલાકની મુસાફરી કરીને સાંકરી પહોંચ્યા હતા. જ્યાં થી સવારે વાગ્યે ચઢવાની શરૂઆત કરી. સાંજે જુડોના તળાવ પ્રથમ કેમ્પ પર રોકાણ કર્યું. બીજા દિવસે વહેલી સવારે 5 વાગે ફરી ચાલવાનું શરુ કર્યું જ્યાં અડધે પહોંચતા જ સવારે 9થી 10 વચ્ચે ભારે હિમવર્ષા થઈ, નિક્ષાના બુટમાં બારીક કાણા હતા જે અંદરથી ભીના થઈ રહ્યા હતા અમે તેની ઉપર પહેલા મીણબત્તી લગાવી દીધી કે જેથી પાણી ન જાય. તેમ છતાં અંદર પાણી જવા લાગ્યું. તેના પગ રીતસર ઠંડીમાં કાંપવા લાગ્યા. તેમ છતાં તે હિંમત હારી નહીં. મેં બેગમાંથી સુકા લાકડા કાઢ્યા અને ફાયર કરી થોડી ગરમી મળે તેવું કર્યું. અને થોડીવાર પછી ફરી ચડાઈ શરૂ કરી અને 11 વાગ્યા સુધીમાં ટોપ પર પહોંચી ગયા. જ્યાં મેં નિક્ષા સાથે ભારતની આન બાન અને શાન સમાન ત્રિરંગો લહેરાવી રાષ્ટ્રગીત ગાયું અને અડધો કલાક ઉપર રોકાઈ પરત 14 kmનો અત્યંત ફાસ્ટ ટ્રેક એક જ વારમાં ઉતરી ગયા. જેનું ગૌરવ છેકે આટલી નાની એજમાં આ શક્ય બન્યું. ટ્રેકિંગમાં ગયા પહેલા તૈયારીમાં રનીંગ સ્પોર્ટ્સ તેમજ સ્થાનિક ગબ્બર પર્વતની વારંવાર ચડાઈનો મહાવરો કેળવ્યો હતો. જોકે તે ચાર વર્ષની ઉંમરથી જ માઉન્ટ આબુ જંગલ ટ્રેકિંગ, અરવલ્લીના જેસોર પહાડ પરનું ટ્રેકિંગ સહિત નાના-મોટા પર્વત સહેલાઈથી ચડી જાય છે. અમે બાળપણથી જ તેને ટ્રેઇન એવી રીતે કરી છે કે તેને કોઈ થાક ના લાગે.
