A Qualified Dietitian’s reply
Unfortunately self medication with all therapies (even nutrition advice by fakes) is so common.
Why not consult a specialist, an ayurvedic dr in this case, rather than follow WhatsApp advice? Also, when blood sugars didn't show effect, she should have understood that it didn't work for her and should have stopped it.
Many such "medicines" are marketed with claims to cleanse blood from cholesterol to growing hair to keeping heart healthy, to weight loss, with exorbitant price, "secret ingredient never revealed.
And, sadly, people fall for it. The claims are similar....take it before the strong pharma lobby gets it banned, etc etc.
This is got on Google search or may be elsewhere also on social platforms. Many self appointed Drs claiming excellent results in few days.
