Dear all as I am not able to update latest events going in department of economics I have updated singh tripathi and shri priya singh as admin of this page and hope that they will take care of this page as the page has already more than 1800 students and their expectation from admin to have latest updates . I have received this messages from many regarding same. New admin can add others too.

100 years journey completed by Department of Economics.Lets celebrate and thanks those teachers who have made this journey wonderful and lighten with their knowledge.

Basically we don't discuss anything related to politics of University here. But when our female friends seniors sisters are on road for their right their safety we must speak. We must think do we as a human able to provide a safe free and good environment for our female colleagues, classmates or own friends. Wehn questions arises for our sisters we become man like Krishna but the same time when it comes to others sisters the same boys become transgender ( with full respect to them). Is this a fault of our administration or parents we must think.
Girls must fight for their rights but don't politicised it otherwise your fight will confined to a small place. I have seen the boys who used to do eveteasing comments and other activities are part of their movement online and offline. You don't need to fight you just sit and introspect may be this can provide a safe environment to female students.......
I remember 2 female students movement in 2011 & 2012. It was not government nor this VC and what was the result of that zero.. what we have done where we went in long 5 years..

This is called economics....big salute Mr Prime minister..

Here are the latest updates for our ensuing Fest
1. Today, Our HOD on behalf of Economics Department invited BHU VC Dr.G.C.Tripathi, who has kindly gave his consent to inaugurate our function.
2. Fest venue would be K.N.Udupa Auditorium.
3. We have also invited Eight other teams as follows:
a) Mahila Mahavidyala
b) DAV Degree College
c) Vasant College for women
d) Arya mahila Degree college
e) Vasant kanya Mahavidyalaya
f) Faculty of Management Studies, BHU
g) Faculty of Commerce, BHU
h) Sunbeam College for Women
4.Those willing to participate, may kindly give their names to respective Event Coordinators. These events are open for Research Scholars, BA and MA Students. We will have all participants' name by March 25 and prepare program accordingly. Hurry Up!!!
5. Quiz Master for Grand Finale : Prof. Rakesh Raman.
6. We are also searching for resource persons who will be panelist in Panel Discussion.This will involve passionate economists of our University, who will be sharing their insights on "Make In India" campaign, discussing how India can become manufacturing hub.Hunt is on for these Genius Mind. Do suggest if you have any names in your mind.
We expect this discussion concludes with fruitful contribution to understanding of what India needs to do to strengthen its manufacturing and set its house in order.
