Whitespace is delighted to have contributed to representing our beloved Kurdistan on a global scale at the "World Economic Forum" in Davos through a project for “Visit Kurdistan”.

Visit Kurdistan is a semi-governmental organization founded in Kurdistan, dedicated to assisting foreign tourists. The project involved putting together exclusive gift packages for the guests, featuring a blend of Kurdish delicacies, souvenirs, and desserts from local startups. This curated collection provided a flavorful experience of Kurdistan and showcased the region's talents to our guests.

Additionally, designing all essential printing materials like brochures and handouts (with custom-made illustrations) for the event, to introduce both "Visit Kurdistan" and the Kurdistan region. Our goal was to establish a strong connection between global leaders and the rich essence of Kurdistan.

For a deeper dive into the brand and the region’s attractions, we designed a presentation to communicate these aspects to the global audience.

In a marketing point of view, a well-designed catalogue creates better conversions and in turn an increase in sales.

Tulip Towers' stationery stands out with distinctive colors and memorable branding, making it instantly recognizable.

The journey began with establishing a visual identity for Tulip Towers, one of the most prominent projects in Erbil. Our aim was to create a clearer, more elegant, and cohesive brand.

As the project unfolded, it delved into various aspects such as defining a color palette and selecting appropriate fonts.

Derived from this branding, we conceptualized the project's perimeter fence, now recognized as one of Erbil's standout fence designs.

Handling expansive projects like Empire World demands diverse expertise, dedication, & skills.

Having worked on several previous projects, both small and large in scale, our latest project involved crafting fence banners for the "Empire Business Towers”.

These banners were designed based on the original branding developed by our agency, featuring custom illustrations to infuse a modern and unique aesthetic into the brand.

Today, users are exceptionally conscious, every detail holds significant importance to them.

So, we have invested considerable effort in photography sessions to ensure brand consistency as well as packaging & menu design to communicate brand values.

We added a fun flair to our brand with custom illustrations featuring characters that showcase the delicious meals at TFK to enhance the visual appeal of the brand & express its unique identity.

Because we are foodies, we were really excited to work on this project—partly to feast our eyes on burgers all day 😆— but also to create a brand that is unique & appealing to the audience.

Let’s talk about the branding!
The brand identity in general is targeted towards youth & has a bold vibe to it. The logo is made with a custom drawn type that is loud & exaggerated.

About Street Typography:
This exhibition aims to explore the typography found in the Iraq & Kurdistan streets, highlighting its cultural significance and transformation into contemporary visual artworks.

What to do:
Choose typographic signage from the street that caught your eye or represents your personality and craft it with your own artistic interpretation into a poster design.

Submission Guidelines:
1. Artists should document and upload photographs of the typography they have discovered in the Iraqi or Arab streets.
2. Please provide a brief statement describing what they were trying to achieve.
3. Artists must submit their final result (The Poster). This can be in the form of digital artwork, typography design, or any other visually creative medium.
4. A1 size, 300 dpi JPEG images or PDF files of the artworks must be submitted. File names should be in this format: ArtistName_artworktitle.

Erbil Hills & Erbil Hills Golf Club

Jiasaz for it solutions offers IT solutions and services to medium and large enterprises in Erbil, Iraq.
Our task was to redesign the logo, giving it a simpler look while retaining the same concept.

The idea behind the logo was a light bulb representing the endless flow of creativity and new ideas. We kept the original vision while improving the visual aspects to make it a more modern brand.

We are proud to announce our latest project consisting of branding, social media management, and an insights report for “Nishtman Strategy Institute”, a non-profit institute for research & Analysis.

Our team was able to create the logo using a custom type that reflects the brand’s true local identity, as well as custom icons for each of the different departments NSI is working on.

Another part of the project was to manage and oversee multiple social media accounts, with our unique designs and strategic approach we managed to reach a wide-ranging audience.

Shaping a brand’s identity depends on both how clear of a vision the client has and how the design agency is able to portray that vision into a well-structured brand.

BALLU is a service-based agency for media production and advertising that is based in Iraq.

After understanding the brand and what it stands for, we were able to not only portray the brand’s existing mission and vision, it’s values and personality, but to also give it our own special touch through the branding process.

The project consisted of 5 impact stories translated into English, Kurdish and Arabic that resulted from our team personally visiting the beneficiaries closely observe their living conditions and express the changes that UN-Habitat’s contributions had on their lives.

Our team were able to capture these touching stories and express it to the viewer in the most honest and authentic way. The photography was also the life of the stories, as the emotions of the beneficiaries were directly reflected visually and gave the overall stories life and sentiment.

Working with humanitarian organizations like the UN allows us to contribute in helping vulnerable individuals and people in need.

It was important for us to portray the touching stories of affected families and the impact UN-Habitat has had on their lives in the most affective way. The structure and layout of the booklets and the entire design process were all important elements of the project’s visual aspect and had a role in brining the project to life.

We are thrilled to announce that for the first time, whitespace, a Kurdish agency is accepting two distinguished awards at Gridliners Awards 2022.

Our unique project, FIFA World Cup 2022 managed to receive two special awards in different categories, as well as other projects of our agency and individual projects from our team:

1. We are proud to have earned a Gold ranking for our first award in the category of “Illustration”
2. Our second award is an "Honorable Award" in the category of "Project of the Year”.
3. Our project Dr Online Branding & UI/UX managed to be one of the Gold finalists for the Digital - UX/UI Category.
4. Finally, congratulations to our designer Shahang, who managed to win Silver for her project “Idea Hive” in the Category Digital - UX/UI

We would like to extend our gratitude to our team for making this possible, to all those who supported us on our journey and to also acknowledge the hard work and achievements of all the other nominees.

Another one of our tasks for Isoline, was a Company Profile that highlights the history, experiences, and services of the company. Through the client’s brief and our own understanding and implementation, we built a solid structure and design for the profile to get the right message to the audience and build a strong brand image.

Isoline is an architectural design and construction company that specializes in delivering exceptional quality to help clients build sustainable and modern establishments.

The client approached us with a couple of needs for building their brand, among those was a logo that is both functional and identifiable to the brand. After various explorations and different options, together with the client, we were able to choose the right option that works for the brand.
