L'arcobaleno dell'idrogeno.
Quali sono i colori dell'idrogeno?
L'idrogeno di per sé non ha colore, inoltre brucia con una fiamma invisibile.
La suddivisione dell'idrogeno in diversi colori è una convenzione volta a fornire informazioni su come l'idrogeno viene generato, sulle fonti energetiche utilizzate e sulla neutralità climatica del ciclo produttivo.

- L'idrogeno grigio è ottenuto da combustibili fossili, come il gas naturale o il carbone. Questo processo rilascia grandi quantità di CO2 direttamente nell'atmosfera ed è responsabile di gran parte delle emissioni climalteranti.
- L'idrogeno blu è generato con gli stessi metodi utilizzati nello scenario grigio, ma in questo caso la CO2 viene catturata e immagazzinata e non viene rilasciata nell'ambiente.
- L'idrogeno rosa è generato utilizzando l'energia nucleare come fonte di energia, solitamente tramite elettrolisi dell'acqua.
- L'idrogeno turchese è creato da un processo termico in cui il gas naturale viene scomposto con l'aiuto del calore in idrogeno e carbonio solido.
- L'idrogeno verde è il termine usato per descrivere l'idrogeno prodotto in modo neutrale dal punto di vista della CO2 attraverso l'elettrolisi dell'acqua. L'elettricità necessaria è generata da fonti di energia rinnovabili, come l'energia eolica, l'energia idroelettrica o l'energia solare. L'idrogeno verde è neutrale dal punto di vista climatico.

What are the colors of the hydrogen?
Hydrogen itself is has no color, it also burns with an invisible flame.
The subdivision of hydrogen into different colors is a convention intended to provide information about how the hydrogen is generated, the energy sources used and the climate neutrality of the production cycle.

• Grey hydrogen is obtained from fossil fuels, such as natural gas or coal. This process releases large amounts of CO2 directly into the atmosphere and is responsible for a large part of the climate changing emissions.
• Blue hydrogen is generated using the same methods used in the grey scenario, but in this case the CO2 is captured and stored, and is not released in the environment.
• Pink hydrogen is generated using nuclear power as source of energy, usually by water electrolysis.
• Turquoise hydrogen is created by a thermal process in which natural gas is broken down with the help of heat into hydrogen and solid carbon.
• Green hydrogen is the term used to describe hydrogen that is produced on a CO2-neutral basis through the electrolysis of water. The electricity this requires is generated from renewable energy sources, for example wind energy, hydropower or solar energy. Green hydrogen is climate-neutral.

🇮🇹 Il 16 giugno saremo presenti nell’aula magna “Mario Carta” della Facoltà di Ingegneria e Architettura di Cagliari in un evento esclusivo in cui si parlerà del ruolo dell’idrogeno nella transizione energetica in Sardegna, organizzato dall’Associazione Termotecnica Italiana. L’evento sarò suddiviso in due sessioni principali, una riguardante il contesto territoriale e le iniziative aziendali e l’altra riguardante le attività di ricerca.

🇬🇧 On 16 June, we will be attending the 'Mario Carta' Aula Magna of Cagliari's Faculty of Engineering and Architecture in an exclusive event discussing the role of hydrogen in Sardinia's energy transition, organised by the Italian Thermotechnical Association. The event will be divided into two main sessions, one concerning the territorial context and company initiatives and the other concerning research activities.

🇮🇹 IMI Remosa parteciperà al Convegno di Hydrogen Expo, che si terrà a Piacenza dall'8 al 10 giugno.

In quest’occasione il nostro ingegnere Alberto Pedrini avrà anche l’opportunità di presentare l’azienda come nuovo produttore di elettrolizzatori nel mercato mondiale.

Questa giornata è un'ottima occasione per riflettere sulle piccole azioni quotidiane che possiamo fare per salvaguardare l'ambiente, comportamenti virtuosi che ci potranno assicurare una casa ancora a lungo.

IMI Remosa sta lavorando per essere sempre più green attraverso iniziative come il nuovo impianto progettato per diminuire le emissioni di CO2, un progetto specifico ESG e ha iniziato il viaggio nel nuovo e sfidante mercato dell'idrogeno green.

Nell’universo ci sono miliardi di galassie, nella nostra galassia ci sono miliardi di pianeti, ma c’è una sola Terra, occorre salvaguardarne le risorse.

Today we want to celebrate with you the world environment day. This day is a good opportunity to think about little daily actions that we can do to preserve environment, virtuous behaviour that will be able to provide us a home still for a long time.

IMI Remosa is working to be more and more green through initiatives like the new plant designed for decrease CO2 emissions, a ESG specific project and started the journey on new challenging Green Hydrogen Market.

In the universe are billions of galaxies, in our galaxy are billions of planets, but there is Only One Earth, we need to safeguard natural resources.

🇮🇹 CHE COS'È L'IDROGENO?

È l'elemento chimico più abbondante nell'universo, l'atomo più semplice e il primo generato durante il Big Bang. Il nostro sole brucia più di 500 milioni di tonnellate metriche di idrogeno ogni secondo!

Qui sul pianeta Terra, un'enorme quantità di idrogeno è contenuta nell'acqua, nelle piante, negli animali e, naturalmente, negli esseri umani.

Tuttavia, qui non c'è idrogeno libero, perché questo elemento è altamente reattivo, cioè tende a creare legami stabili con altri elementi. Per ottenere l'idrogeno dobbiamo quindi separarlo da diverse fonti, tra cui l'acqua, i combustibili fossili o le biomasse.

Ma perché preoccuparsi di farlo? L'idrogeno non è una fonte di energia, ma è utile per immagazzinare grandi quantità di energia, generata da fonti rinnovabili come il sole e il vento.

La sfida è sfruttare l'idrogeno come gas su larga scala per alimentare le nostre case e le nostre aziende, senza emissioni di gas serra.

🇬🇧 WHAT IS HYDROGEN?

It's the most abundant chemical element in the universe, the simplest atom and the first one generated during the Big Bang. Our sun burns more than 500 millions of metric tons of hydrogen every second!

Here on Planet Earth, a huge quantity of hydrogen is contained in water, plants, animals and, of course, humans.

However, there is no free hydrogen here, because this element is highly reactive, i.e. it tends to create stable bounds with other elements. Therefore to obtain hydrogen we must separate it from a variety of sources including water, fossil fuels, or biomasses.

But why bothering to do it? Hydrogen is not source of energy, but it’s useful to store large quantities of energy, generated by renewable sources such as sun and wind.

The challenge is harnessing hydrogen as a gas on a large scale to fuel our homes and businesses, without the emissions of greenhouse gases.

Il trasferimento di macchinari di tali dimensioni e complessità non è un lavoro facile e richiede lavoratori altamente specializzati per non incorrere in imprevisti.

Relocation of the first machinery from the current site to the future site in the Macchiareddu area has begun.

The transfer of machinery of such size and complexity is not an easy job and requires highly skilled workers in order not to run into unexpected events.

Siamo lieti di presentarvi il primo evento Green della REMOSA. Con una squadra di volontari ci siamo recati a Uta nella zona verde di Via Caravaggio per piantare degli alberelli prelevati dall’Agenzia Forestas. La IMI Remosa coglie l’occasione per avviare una nuova collaborazione con il Comune di Uta proprio perché è qui che si trasferirà l’azienda, nella zona industriale di Macchiareddu.
Uno degli obiettivi dell’impresa è svolgere "CSR" (Coorporate Social Responsability"), ovvero svolgere attività che gestiscano le problematiche d’impatto sociale ed etico al loro interno e nelle zone di attività. Ringraziamo il Sindaco Giacomo Porcu, l’assessore Emanuele Pinna e tutte le persone che hanno partecipato a questo magnifico evento augurandoci che sia soltanto il primo di tanti altri.

We are glad to present you the first green event of REMOSA. With a team of volunteers we went to Uta in the green area of Via Caravaggio to plant saplings taken from the Forestas Agency. IMI Remosa takes the opportunity to start a new collaboration with the Comune di Uta because it is here that the company will move, in the industrial area of Macchiareddu.
One of the goals of the company is to carry out "CSR" (Coorporate Social Responsability"), i.e. to carry out activities that manage social and ethical impact issues inside and in the areas of activity. We thank the Mayor Giacomo Porcu, the Councillor Emanuele Pinna and all the people who participated in this magnificent event wishing that it is only the first of many others.

Il progetto “HOMER”, così si chiama una nuova iniziativa per la New Smart Digital Company.
Il nome bizzarro è per ricordare il mitico Homer Simpson racchiuso nella sua sala di controllo, nel famoso cartone.

Tale progetto nasce come tesi di due futuri ingegneri elettrico (Francesco) e informatico (Riccardo).
Completano il team Dahab che sta svolgendo un tirocinio post-laurea da International Management e Mauro lo sponsor coach.
I ragazzi dell’Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Dionigi Scano aiuteranno IMI Remosa nella progettazione e sviluppo della nuova sala controllo per il nuovo stabilimento in costruzione.
Un progetto unico che unisce scuola superiore, università, post-laurea, tirocini e azienda.

A new effort for the New Smart Digital Company is called the "HOMER" project.

The unusual name is intended to recall the renowned Homer Simpson, who was contained in his control room in the famous cartoon.

This project was born as the thesis of two future electrical engineers (Francesco) and computer engineers (Riccardo). The team is completed by Dahab who is doing a post-graduate internship at International Management and Mauro the sponsor coach.
Students from the Dionigi Scano Higher Education Institute assisted IMI Remosa in the design and building of the control room for the new plant.
A unique project that combines high school, university, post-graduate, internships and company.

What are the goals?

- Energy usage monitoring
- Production process monitoring
- Individual machine monitoring
