Let me introduce you to… The BEST holdback 2023 from my striped tail project👽 with Pachydactylus rangei gecko
This amazing female has a really cool pattern that we can use to make super stripe animals with a stripe from the head to the end of the tail !!!

Hope to get some cool baby’s from her in 2025 season 👽 can’t wait for it!

In questo particolare scatto potete notare come la fluorescenza della pelle (quella gialla) si estende anche nella parte dell’Iride dell’occhio. Questo accade solo in alcuni esemplari.

Qualche info sulla fluorescenza nei Pachydactylus rangei: la parte blu che vedete è il semplice riflesso della luce uv sulle ossa del geco che grazie alla pelle sottile e trasparente sono visibili bene, mentre la parte gialla/verde fluo è una particolare cellula di pigmento (iridofori) all'interno della pelle.
In questo esemplare la parte gialla è molto spiccata e penso si possa selezionare per aumentare la percentuale su tutto il corpo...
