The “𝐄𝐱𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞” pattern is an original design of the volcanic creative 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢. The rug tells a romantic story, indefinite in time but not in space, which develops in the jungle amidst verdant nature. In this idyllic world, the little monkeys climb lively on the plants to steal the flowers, and also the fruits, impersonating the Voleur de Fleurs that give the collection its name.

Stemming from its Italian foundation, 𝐈𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐢 𝐌𝐢𝐚𝐦i is proud to announce a winner for the 𝐑𝐮𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 in collaboration with the luxury Italian rug company, 𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐔𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍 ().
𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐄𝐦𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐞 () developed her rug design which was then created by the run company and put on display at Edicola to celebrate her accomplishment.

In attendance was Illulian CEO, 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐬 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢 𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧 to personally congratulate the design winner.

𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬 Rug designed by 𝐙𝐚𝐡𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 for 𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐔𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍, Now on Display in 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧. Following a successful launch in Milan last year, the bespoke 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 rug from ILLULIAN's Natural Field Collection, designed by 𝐙𝐚𝐡𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 and handcrafted with Himalayan wools and silks, is now on display at the 𝐙𝐚𝐡𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐲 in 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧. This rug showcases the seamless integration of ILLULIAN's craftsmanship with Zaha Hadid Architects' design philosophy, emphasising perspective, form, and space. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, inspired by the raw material's journey, embodies intricate, nature-inspired networks in ZHA’s designs. The rug features bold lines and expressive curves, enhanced by premium materials: interwoven silk threads for a distinct sheen, juxtaposed with the matte finish of Himalayan wool, creating a captivating interplay of light.

The first contest that brings Illulian in touch with 40 aspiring designers at 𝐈𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐢 in 𝐌𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐢

𝐈𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧, the historic and internationally acclaimed brand in the sector of design and luxury furnishings, has been invited by the president of the school, 𝐇𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐤𝐚𝐦 to present the contest “𝐋𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐔𝐆 𝐁𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐍”: a 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 open to students of fashion design and architecture, involved in the creative development of a 𝐫𝐮𝐠.

The winner of the contest, selected by Illulian - 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐬 and 𝐃𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐬 𝐑𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢 the Owners - 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐫𝐚 𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐨 founder of 𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐏𝐑 and the 𝐈𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐢 𝐌𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐢 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦, that will evaluate the works for factors of originality, production feasibility and aesthetic value, will be 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐝 a 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭.

The winning project will be produced and exhibited at the institute during 𝐌𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐢 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐖𝐞𝐞𝐤 in 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑.
