Rug: Composition IV, Abstraction Collection.
The Abstraction collection is based on the ideas of abstractionism and the generalisation of forms. Still, instead of translating an image into its simplified form, Tapis Rouge created complex compositions from the interaction of multiple shapes, colours, and geometric proportions.

Tapis Rouge is in perfect harmony with the style of Riflessi’s home in the new catalog under the creative direction of Bruno Tarsia Studio, with the photography of Lorenzo Pennati.
Perfectly incorporated, the Tapis Rouge rug Bauhaus Cielo completes the scenes, adding dynamism and personality to the compositions. 
We are delighted to have taken part in this project that captures the perfect harmony between the formal and elegant style of the home, according to Riflessi and the textile research of Tapis Rouge, two design brands that share the same commitment to preserving craftsmanship and innovation.

The Pattern Collection draws inspiration from architectural styles throughout history. It includes six unique styles, ranging from Roman to Stick, each showcasing elegant and sensational characteristics. 

The Bauhaus series of rugs reimagines the color combinations of Itten and the Bauhaus period.

Celebrate Italian Design with the „Inganni Spaziali“ collection, created in collaboration with the graphic designer Armando Milani, which features four stunning carpets—Emozioni, Illusione, Grovigli, and Connessioni. These pieces are large-scale adaptations of Milani’s 1970s analog works.

Originally crafted as a paper maquette with hair collages from various magazines, Grovigli’s design now features 57% wool and 43% silk with a 100 knots/inch² density. The 6 mm pile height offers a soft, tactile feel, while the warm palette and nuanced carving add rhythm to the design. Available in stock!

The Aubusson Heraldy Antique White rug from the Modern Classic Collection will be displayed during Milano Design Week 24. In addition to the new collection, the new setup is designed to show Tapis Rouge’s souls: the classic, the contemporary, and the research approach.
A contemporary take on traditional designs ranging from Persian damask to French floral ornaments, the Modern Classic collection evokes a sense of antiquity and historical tradition while adding a touch of experimentation, such as the varying heights, carving, working with the colors inside the design, and a combination of wool and silk, giving the rug uniqueness.

We recently presented a preview of the Inganni Spaziali Collection, designed by Armando Milani, an authoritative voice in the International Graphic Design Panorama and AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale) Member. For the occasion, we curated a small exhibition, an oversized mood board as the center stage of our space, showing a chronological voyage following the four decades of his design production.

In the Fabulous collection’s surfaces, the richness of wool and silk threads surprises with sophistication and simplicity. The complexity of soft-toned volumes results from meticulous carving that makes the design resemble botanical sections.
