Collezioni sempre contemporanee con una particolare attenzione alle forme e ai materiali, curate nei minimi dettagli rigorosamente ”Made in Italy“.

Le scarpe di Rosa sono frutto della sua passione per la ricerca Vintage di scarpe femminili rese contemporanee e dell’esperienza fatta sul “campo” affiancando artigiani in tutti i processi di realizzazione e sviluppo della scarpa.

“modelli complessi, solo la sua scarpa modello Gisele e’ frutto di una sessantina di pezzi assemblati a mano in un laboratorio a conduzione familiare. Lì su indicazioni di Rosa si taglia sui cartamodelli, si ricoprono i tacchi, si fodera, si seguono i risvolti …ogni paio è curatissimo e sorprende per proporzioni e dettagli….Il tacco è fondamentale mai sfacciato, a pianta larga , per questo si gira dai 7 cm in sù dall’alba al tramonto…un camoscio che si direbbe velluto a coste, una pelle che sembra stampata elefante e nappe opache morbide e carezzevoli… “

Attualmente, oltre a progettare e produrre la propria collezione di calzature, disegna e progetta la collezione di giacche Imp of the Roses lanciata nel Gennaio 2014.

È la prima collaborazione tra Rosa e il designer di Los Angeles, Giovanni Contrada, di Imp of the Perverse, il nome della collezione nasce mescolando i due marchi.

Ogni giacca è un pezzo unico nel suo genere, tinto, lavato e amato, personalizzato con bottoni in metallo (rose, cavallucci marini, fleur di lys, serpenti, teschi e foglie di canapa), e la descrizione dei materiali e il logo scritti a mano sulla fodera.

“Quando è nata l’opportunità di lavorare insieme, entrambi abbiamo colto l’occasione per creare una collezione di giacche e cappotti che riflettesse ciascuna delle nostre sensibilità nel design e nel senso dell’umorismo.
Abbiamo un modo naturale e semplice di comunicare ciò che pensiamo e siamo in grado di inserirlo nel suo contesto appropriato, che si tratti di forme, colori o dettagli.”

rose’s roses is an italian shoes and accessories brand launched by Rosa Aiuto in 1998.

Rosa starts her career very early in life working for Pupi Solari. Together with Henry Beguelin Rosa founds and takes care of Henri Beguelin shoes production for 12 years while collaborating with Rei Kawakubo, Comme des Garcones, Jil Sander, Alberto Biani, Alberta Ferretti, just to name a few.

At the end of the 90’S, in collaboration with Consuelo Castiglioni, she designs and is in charge of the first “Marni” shoes collection for three years.

Modern, refined and perfectly polished, Rosa’s creations embody the concept of “Made in Italy”.

Her passion for vintage women shoes, and her experience have enabled her to produce shoes that are feminine and confortable at the same time.

Anna Maria Sbisà on Elle defines these shoes:

“complex creations. Only The model Gisele is the product of 40 pieces hand-assembled in a family-run laboratory. There, on Rosa’s instructions, the paper models are trimmed and the heels are covered accurately following the contours. Every single pair is taken care of down to the very details so that each shoe is surprisingly balanced in its proportions. The heel is crucial, though never over the top. The heel’s wide-bottom meets an high that is always taller that 7 centimetres, no matter what…The suede reminds corduroy velvet, the leather seems elephant-stamped and the nappa is opaque, soft and caressing”.

Rosa has also worked with Alberto Aspesi, Loro Piana, Missoni, Kristina T, Bruno Magli, Sissi Rossi, C.P. Company, Albino, Vera Wang and Stephan Janson.

Currently, besides designing and producing her own shoes collection, she also designs “Imp of the Roses by nobody you know” which was launched in January, 2014.

It’s the first collaborative effort between shoe designer Rosa and Los Angeles based designer Giovanni Contrada of Imp of the Perverse.

“We even collaborated on the name of the collection by mashing up our brand names. When the opportunity arose to work together we both jumped on the chance to create a collection of jackets and coats that reflected each of our sensibilities in design and sense of humor. We have a natural and easy way of communicating what we are thinking and are able to put it into it’s proper context, whether it’s shapes, colors or details.”

Each piece is truly a one of a kind wearable item, dyed, washed and loved.

Each item is customized by adding solid pewter buttons of roses, spiders, sea horses, fleur di lys, serpents, skulls and h**p leaf. Hand painting the logo on the interior lining of the jacket, writing by hand the model name on each garment produced along with a description of details seen and hidden.
