After having the privilege of inheriting a traditional family home in a central part of Naples, we have completely renovated and equipped this beautiful apartment with all of the comforts one needs to be able to return to the places where we were born and where our ancestors lived for almost two centuries.

The house is very central: located a few meters away from the famous Via Toledo and metro station, the most popular underground station in Europe, and just a few blocks walk from Piazza del Plebiscito. As the apartment is just a 5-10 minute walk from the picture-perfect coastal area of the city, you have easy access to the main docks which many boats use to conveniently reach other nearby islands. Our apartment is also very close to the medieval castle - Maschio Angioino. By foot you can also reach the historical center and the national museum.

The convenient location is not the only reason why we are excited to welcome you to our cozy home. Here you will live the unforgettable experience of enjoying Naples as the people do on a day to day basis. It is the city that Matilde Serao has well described as the "truthful one”, that sees the sun even when it is not there, in the book Ventre di Napoli. The apartment is situated in one of the most characteristic alleys of the Quartieri Spagnoli (Spanish Quarters) and if you open the soundproof windows, the salty breeze of the nearby sea will overwhelm you, as well as the echoing voice of the “chianchiere,” a local butcher that makes special meat deliveries to regular customers by passing the goods in a typical “panaro” or basket up to residents’ balconies. Just around the corner, you might have the luck of running into Fortunato's heir, who is described in a song by Pino Daniele, as a local boy who sells ‘sfilatino’, a type of panino, with ricotta di fuscella - a typical Neapolitan bread and cheese dish.
