Moderation: Andreas Hantschk (Department of Science Communication of the NHM Vienna)
The Second Life is a feature doc about three museum taxidermists preparing for the European Taxidermy Championship. The film provides insights into an unusual profession and addresses the global loss of biological diversity.

Mercoledì 31 agosto, dalle 21:00, l'appuntamento è con 'Many Possible Cities… on screen. Una serata dedicata a come si trasformano le città' con la proiezione del film documentario 'Natur Park Südgelände' di Davide Gambino, prodotto dalla Fondazione Benetton Studi Ricerche con Mon Amour Films, dedicato al Natur Park Schöneberger Südgelände e alla natura urbana berlinese. Il film sarà introdotto da Patrizia Boschiero, coordinatrice delle attività del Premio Internazionale Carlo Scarpa per il Giardino, nel cui ambito è stato ideato e realizzato questo film.

La serata proseguirà con la proiezione di 'All the Streets Are Silent' di Jeremy Elkin. Ambientato tra 1987 e il 1997 a Manhattan, il film documenta un periodo in cui i marciapiedi di New York prosperavano grazie a due subculture di riferimento che hanno iniziato a integrarsi: hip-hop e skateboard.
