Our Story
3CAD’s experience starts from the 90's with our first development - production management and supervision software for CNC machines in the sector of modular furniture (kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, living and sleeping areas). Taking advantage of what was learned in the field during that era, 3CAD undertook the development of the first three-dimensional product configurator for the furniture sector in the industry.
Thanks to the success of that software, 3CAD has been able to specialize in the niche of product configuration. Today, our flagship software is 3cadevolution, the fourth generation of configurator developed over a period of 20 years during which, starting from the management of factory flows, the software's functionality has expanded to the management of the acquisition of the order, of the creation of the bill of materials generation of three-dimensional and multimedia product presentation and rendering documents, always respecting the concept of supply chain integration. In fact, 3CAD remains the only truly transversal solution that allows the end customer, the shop and the factory to interact within a single platform.
The success of the 3CAD solution in furniture sector has allowed us to become known all over the world and above all to be able to apply our product configurator in other sectors such as door and window frames, interior and armored doors, concert boxes, set-ups for vans, tents and garden structures and in general - all highly variable products.
