The appearance of living flesh links coral sculptures to blood drawings in which the artist expresses the dawn of human existence
through his unborn son’s ultrasounds. The sweetness of an intimate and personal feeling becomes an invitation to a reflection on
human vulnerability and needs.

We are pleased to extend until 20 of September “Pietro Consagra. Scultura in relazione. Opere 1947 - 2004” on show at Galleria Mucciaccia in Rome✨
Pietro Consagra is one of the most important figures on the international art scene of the 20th century. Consagra wanted to integrate sculpture, observer and environment in a completely new vision of space and its relationships.
His sculptures are not modelled but constructed and articulated on superimposed planes, to be perceived in a direct, unitary way.
