The Master's program in Development Economics and International Cooperation at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" recently hosted a Career Development Day in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank . This event was graced by the esteemed Dr. Seung Min Lee, a Deputy Representative at European Representative Office of ADB.
Dr. Lee provided invaluable advice on how to navigate career paths within international organizations like ADB. He emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary knowledge, adaptability, and continuous learning.

“On May 21st, 2023 turned 11! To say I am proud of this milestone is an understatement.
I was just 24 years old when the idea came to life; at now 37, I have spent more than half my life working towards putting an end to hunger and food waste, bolstering community service and civic engagement through social responsibility, fighting social exclusion, & protecting our planet all at once!
I started volunteering back when I was still 14 and it was then and there that I found the true meaning of living. Living is about giving, giving back!
What else makes this anniversary extra special? My team has grown more than ever and although people come and go into FoodBlessed as they would in life, they always leave knowing they made a difference in the lives of many & accumulated great memories along the way!
11 years ago, Pierre, Lina and Andre took a chance on me and on FoodBlessed at a CSR workshop by CSR Al Ahli!After that it was up to me to prove to them that they made the right choice! To these 3 people, thank you & to everyone who believed in FoodBlessed & me (and God knows there wasn't that many of you. Actually,two of FoodBlessed's cofounders left after year 1.They thought that was the end but to me it was only the beginning)!
In the past years:
•4,506,800 Meals were served •57,000 Food boxes were distributed.
•3,720,000 million Tonnes of food were saved.
•1500+ volunteers gave back to their community;
•5,000,000+ people have been FoodBlessed.
We are now serving more people than ever before. To everyone who has volunteered, donated, cheered us on, shared a meal with us, and shared our efforts over the past 11 years, THANK YOU! Thank you for your support, your love, & mostly for believing in us then and now. We wouldn't be here was it not for you!
As we celebrate this milestone, I kindly ask you to keep supporting us! Whether it's by donating to, volunteering with,or advocating for our cause. Everyone has a role to play & we can all make a difference, together!
Ps. Donations are always appreciated and needed, and celebrated especially on such an occasion. You can find the link in my bio! Every amount makes a difference. It always has!”
Maya Terro , cofounder and executive director at FoodBlessed
