The entrance area divides the house into two different portions although, being made of plywood, it can be removed allowing for new configurations.

The fulcrum is the duble-sided volume that hosts the kitchen on one side, the washing machine and a wardrobe on the opposite side. The apparatus superimposes the private sphere of the room and the living's social one.

Since the first draft, the layout was designed for future spatial alterations.
Now we've added two new partitions in order to accomodate a work space and a reading room.

Saranno presenti , e dello studio di architettura Clinicaurbana di . Introduce e modera l’incontro il prof. Antonio De Rossi del Politecnico di Torino.

✅Per chi lo desidera, la conferenza sarà preceduta da una visita guidata dagli architetti progettisti alla Borgata Paraloup , con ritrovo a Rittana alle ore 15.00.

Competition entry for a public space, Caserta 2023.

Fences and railings impede the access to the abandoned sports field. The reminiscence of the field weaves together with the outline of the piazza d’armi conceived by Vanvitelli, originated from the mass of the Reggia di Caserta and the hemicycles. The enclosed field has a specific organising ability, it defines an inside, an outside, a threshold between the city and the magnetic area rich in possible significance. The elliptic void of the piazza d’armi is instead the sign on which the design is based.
A concrete ring is placed at the centre of the site. The exterior appears like an imposing wall of elementary geometry. By approaching and moving away from the park’s perimeter and from the surrounding buildings, the wall generates spaces of variable dimensions. The equipped garden is located in these areas, extension of the neighbouring houses. Three openings give access to the internal space, where the wall articulates as a volume in the deep portico surmounted by the vault and by the pitched covering. Long panche di via (benches) run along the wall base, balancing the basement of the structure. The monumental architecture of the portico surrounds the square punctuated at times by beds of cacti and palm trees.

Belvedere is the redefinition of an ancient architectural typology in relation to a changed coastal landscape condition. The new public space acts as the new head of the so called "treno" designed by Marcello D'Olivo in the Fifties. The square is raised, enabling us to observe the sea from above and to perceive the breeze, while at the street level the car parks and the circulation of car, bikes and pedestrian is rearranged. The monumental staircase stages the connection between the city and the beach, and serves as cavea for concerts.
Bridge, car park, square, sport facility, observatory, seaside boulevard, theatre: multiple functions are synthetised by this same urban hybrid.
The budget is diverted from the production of objects (street furniture) and non recyclable infrastructure (underground car parking) to the production of space - architecture - a multiplication of unexpected possibilities determined by the duration of a built form.

Jagged and pierced, the chrome-plated liquid surface of the tables extend itself, a play of mirror that reflects the surrounding world. A careful observation reveals more than a mere reflection: a heterotopia transports onto the surface the geological memory of the mountain landscape, the lakes constellation that punctuates the Alpine arc. Each lake is given a number, an indication of the altitude that sets it in relation to the sea, an indication of the logic concatenation that runs through the water cycle - within which architecture becomes a link.
