ARTIST ANNOUNCEMENT #4 - Gandalf

Matteo Brigatti aka GANDALF is a DJ and promoter active on the Turin and Italian techno scene for over 20 years. Founder and resident DJ of GENAU, one of the most well-known techno nights in Italy with almost 10 years of events in tis agenda. He is also involved with the OVER parties at Audiodrome Club. He is also resident DJ and artistic consultant of Kappa FuturFestival and Movement Festival Torino since their creation.

During his dj career he played with all the most important techno artists in the world: just name one and he's on Gandalf's CV already. He also had the opportunity to play in different Italian clubs around the nation and abroad in Germany, France and Japan.

Chi mi conosce bene sa della mia mai celata passione per la prog house di matrice inglese: nomi come John Digweed, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo e più in generale tutto il giro Renaissance / Global Underground / Balance hanno profondamente influenzato il mio modo di essere dj, anche in ambito techno.

Questo Venerdì 6 Ottobre sono stato chiamato a fare un dj set di apertura a un'altra leggenda di questo ambiente, Sasha - "The Son of God". Per me un'emozione unica e indescrivibile. E' però anche importante che chi verrà all'Audiodrome Live Club capisca che NON si tratta di una serata techno, e che NON suonerò techno. Sono però anche convinto che molto del pubblico techno torinese avrà molto da ascoltare, ballare e imparare da un dj come Sasha, che di fatto ha influenzato la cultura musicale elettronica mondiale negli ultimi 30 anni.
