🇬🇧 About a month ago, Caterina wrote to me with a customization request.

She saw the necklace with the typewriter and wanted to engrave it with "I love you, it's ruining my life" 💔, hoping to receive it by July 13th.

She explained that she was going to Taylor Swift's concert 🎤 and wanted to wear it for the occasion.

Even though I didn't know much about the singer at first, after learning about her global success 🌍 and the extraordinary event that her tour was, I can only say one thing:

I'm happy to have contributed, even if just with a piece of jewelry, to making this moment special for Caterina. 😍

🇮🇹  Circa un mese fa, Caterina mi ha scritto per una richiesta di personalizzazione.

Ha visto la collana con la macchina da scrivere e desiderava inciderci la scritta "I love you, it's ruining my life" 💔, con l'augurio di riceverla entro il 13 luglio.

Mi ha spiegato che avrebbe partecipato al concerto di Taylor Swift 🎤 e avrebbe voluto indossarla in quell'occasione.

Nonostante non sapessi molto della cantante all'inizio, informandomi sul suo successo planetario 🌍 e sull'evento straordinario che è stato il suo tour, posso dire solo una cosa:

Sono felice di aver contribuito, seppur in forma di bijoux, a rendere speciale questo momento per Caterina. 😍

I'm not an art expert at all, and I believe that art has the power to evoke both positive and negative opinions, and each is valid in its own way!
..But I love art in general, even the art I don't understand, even the art I don't like, because regardless, it fascinates me ❤️

And I still remember the first time I saw one of his paintings in person... the sense of depth, it felt like each color-filled square was pulling me towards it.

Overwhelming.

That's the sensation it gave me.

That's why I've dedicated so many pieces of jewelry to him, and as the latest of these weeks, this one.

Questi sono i commenti che spesso sento sulle opere di Piet Mondrian.
Io non sono un'esperta d'arte, tutt'altro, e penso che l'arte abbia il potere di scatenare opinioni positive e negative, e che ognuna sia valida, a modo suo!
..Ma io amo l'arte in generale, anche quella che non capisco, anche quella che non mi piace, perché a prescindere mi affascina ❤️

E ricordo ancora la prima volta che ho visto dal vivo un suo quadro...il senso di profondità, sembrava che ogni riquadro pieno di colore mi attirasse verso di lui.

Travolgente

Questa è la sensazione che mi ha dato.

Per questo gli ho dedicato tanti bijoux, e come ultimo di queste settimane, questo.

It's a necklace.

But it's also a brooch.

After the sunflower brooch, which I transformed into a dual-purpose jewel because it can be mounted on a necklace, turning it into Van Gogh's painting, I wanted to create other brooches/necklaces like this 😃

So they're 2 jewels in 1! 🤩

And the enigmatic painting by Magritte is the protagonist of this new piece of jewelry.

Soon I'll also publish others, because as usual, I have a lot of ideas but little time to realize them 😅

È una collana.

Ma è anche una spilla.

Dopo la spilla con i girasoli, che ho trasformato in un gioiello a doppio utilizzo perché si può mo***re su una collana, che lo trasforma nel dipinto di Van Gogh, ho voluto creare altre spille/collane di questo tipo 😃

Insomma sono 2 gioielli in 1! 🤩

E l'enigmatico quadro di Magritte è il protagonista di questo nuovo bijoux.

For years, I've been trying to make it for Christmas, but every time I end up disappointed... the shape isn't perfect, the color doesn't quite capture it... 😒

But this year... I don't know, maybe I found some vibrant yet elegant colors, or perhaps I finally figured out how to shape it just right 😍

I'm satisfied! Even if the two earrings are identical, symmetrical (a rare occurrence for me 😝)
