Puzzles, Lego, Pac-Man, and various other games are immediately recognizable iconographies and significant symbols of contemporary society and culture. The material used for their creation is concealed through the vibrant use of colors.
These uniform, monochromatic, and flat backgrounds are a fundamental aspect of the pop logic, reducing everything to a superficial dimension characterized by plasticity and vivid hues. The materiality fades away, the forms become weightless, and the essence endures

Beppe Borella - Sculptor

Born in Bergamo in 1972 , his initial work as a blacksmith allowed him to approach iron as his first building material. Later he began to work with marble: an energetic material, capable of projecting him into a new future.
The perfect union of his dexterity and creativity thus allows the artist to sculpt fantastic, sinuous, ironic and powerful works that dialogue with Pop Art, grasping the most playful and captivating meaning of the term.
Beppe Borella's sculptures, with their strong visual impact, prompt us to reflect on society and contemporary culture through explicit sinuous ironic and powerful forms.

Luca Cavalca - Sculptorcavalca

Born in Milan in 1971, he attended the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan in the sculpture course and at the same time, he specialized in art therapy.
Always active as a sculptor, his creative research trespasses into the world of design, architecture and fashion.
Most of his works are created with clay, modeling the sculptures in a spiritual tension suspended between figuration and abstraction.
Today the artist, among other projects, is also devoting his attention to blown glass. The first results of this work are some collections presented in San Polo Art Gallery, such as San Marco Collection and La Calle Collection, in which Luca studied and experimented the nature of this interesting material in different and unique way.
