Gloria Bruni's opera 'Creation/Schöpfung-Fragmente' enjoyed another success. This time, the opera about the mystery of the origin of the universe and of mankind was performed in the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche in Berlin, a place historically symbolic of peace and reconciliation. The concert was preceded by an interesting debate on the creation of the universe, with Frank Engelbrecht, Protestant pastor, on the side of faith, and Prof. Beate Heinemann, DESY's Director in Charge of Particle Physics, Hamburg, on the side of science.

Gloria Brunis Oper “Creation/Schöpfung-Fragmente“ war erneut ein Erfolg. Diesmal wurde die Oper über das Geheimnis des Ursprungs des Universums und der Menschheit in der Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche in Berlin aufgeführt, einem Ort, der historisch gesehen ein Symbol für Frieden und Versöhnung ist. Dem Konzert ging eine interessante Debatte über die Entstehung des Universums voraus auf der Seite des Glaubens mit Frank Engelbrecht, evangelischer Pfarrer, und auf der Seite der Wissenschaft Prof. Beate Heinemann, DESY Direktor für Teilchenphysik, Hamburg.

Questa volta, l'opera sul mistero dell'origine dell'universo e dell'umanità è stata rappresentata nella Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church di Berlino, un luogo che storicamente è simbolo di pace e riconciliazione. Il concerto è stato preceduto da un interessante dibattito sull'origine dell'universo dal punto di vista religioso con Frank Engelbrecht, pastore protestante, e da parte della scienza con la professoressa Beate Heinemann, direttore responsabile della Fisica delle Particelle del DESY di Amburgo.

Rehearsals continue for Gloria Bruni's ‘Creation/Schöpfung’. Here are some shots of the rehearsals that are taking place in the Jugendmusikschule in Hamburg and in the DESY Auditoriom. The concert, which will take place on Sunday 1 September in the Kaiser Wilhelm Gedachtniskirche in Berlin, was organised with DESY in Hamburg for CERN's 70th anniversary. The mission of the DESY research centre is to decipher the function of matter as a basis for solving the major challenges facing society. DESY works closely with the international research centre CERN in Geneva, which operates the world's largest particle accelerator. Gloria Bruni has set this challenge to music.

Proseguono le prove per "Creation/Schöpfung" di Gloria Bruni. Ecco alcuni scatti delle prove che si stanno svolgendo nell'Aula Jugendmusikschule ad Amburgo e nell'Auditoriom del DESY. Il concerto, che si terrà domenica 1 settembre nella Kaiser Wilhelm Gedachtniskirche a Berlino, è stato organizzato con il DESY di Amburgo per i 70 anni di attività del CERN. La missione del Centro di ricerca DESY è decifrare la funzione della materia, come base per risolvere le principali sfide che la società dovrà affrontare. Zwischen Glaube und Wissenschaft bewegt sich die Musik des Konzerts „Creazione/Schöpfung - Fragmente“ von Gloria Bruni. In der Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche im Herzen Berlins findet am 1. September um 18 Uhr anlässlich des 70-jährigen Bestehens des CERN(Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire, Genf))ein Konzert statt, das in Zusammenarbeit mit DESY in Hamburg veranstaltet wird. The music of Gloria Bruni's concert ‘Creation - Fragments’ moves between faith and science. In the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church in the heart of Berlin, on 1 September at 6.00 p.m. there will be a concert on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of CERN (Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire, Geneva), organised in cooperation with DESY in Hamburg. With Gloria Bruni as composer and vocal soloist, the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra and the Berlin Vocalconsort Choir will perform under the baton of Wolf Kerschek. One of the musical pieces, which describes the well-known physical formula ‘LAGRANGE’, will also be accompanied by a choir composed of scientists from DESY and the University of Hamburg.

L'arte nasce dalle idee. E spesso le idee nascono da confronti colloquiali tra amici. Questa è la genesi del concerto "Sulle ali del canto, da Vivaldi a Bruni", evento straordinario del Festival Cusiano di Musica Antica, nato da una chiacchierata sulla musica tra Gloria Bruni, soprano e compositrice, Ettore Borri, presidente dell'Associazione Amici della Musica Vittorio Cocito e direttore del festival Cusiano, e Lauro Ferrarini, musicista, compositore ed orchestratore. Così è nato un concerto che accosta musiche di epoche diverse. «E' emerso un interessante esperimento dal ti**re fuori dal cassetto brani musicali noti, guardarli sotto una luce nuova ed interpretarli in modo personale», ha dichiarato Bruni.

This is the genesis of the concert 'Sulle ali del canto, da Vivaldi a Bruni', an extraordinary event of the Festival Cusiano di Musica Antica, born from a chat about music between Gloria Bruni, soprano and composer, Ettore Borri, president of the Associazione Amici della Musica Vittorio Cocito and director of the Festival Cusiano, and Lauro Ferrarini, musician, composer and orchestrator. Thus was born a concert combining music from different eras. "An interesting experiment emerged from pulling well-known pieces of music out of the drawer, looking at them in a new light and interpreting them in a personal way," said Bruni.

Venerdì 14 giugno 2024, si è tenuto ad Orta S. Giulio, nella Sala Tallone, nell'ambito della 41ª edizione del Festival Cusiano di Musica Antica il concerto “Sulle ali del canto, da Vivaldi a Bruni" che ha avuto come interprete la compositrice e soprano Gloria Bruni.

Accompagnata da Ettore Borri al pianoforte (direttore artistico del Festival) e da Lauro Ferrarini alla chitarra, Gloria Bruni ha affrontato stili musicali di differenti epoche interpretando con grande intensità le melodie di autori come R. Strauss, A.Vivaldi, F. Schubert, C. Orff, G.C. Sonzogno e Gloria Bruni stessa, toccando con maestria e delicatezza le corde dell’emozione ed il cuore del pubblico presente che con sentiti applausi ha mostrato di gradire molto la serata.



On Friday, 14 June 2024, the concert 'Sulle ali del canto, da Vivaldi a Bruni' was held in Orta S. Giulio (Novara, Italy), at Sala Tallone, as part of the 41st edition of the Festival Cusiano di Musica Antica.
Accompanied by Ettore Borri on the piano (artistic director of the Festival) and Lauro Ferrarini on the guitar, Gloria Bruni dealt with musical styles from different epochs, interpreting with great intensity the melodies of composers such as R. Strauss, A. Vivaldi, F. Schubert, C. Orff, G.C. Sonzogno and Gloria Bruni herself, skilfully and delicately touching the emotional chords and hearts of the audience, who warmly applauded the evening.

L'artista si esibirà nella Sala Eleonora Tallone sul Lago d'Orta oggi nel concerto “Sulle ali del canto, da Vivaldi a Bruni”, un excursus attraverso la melodia dal Settecento ai giorni nostri, in cui la compositrice attraversa tutti i registri musicali.

Composer and soprano Gloria Bruni is guest of honour at the 41st edition of the Cusiano Festival of Ancient Music, running until 29 June.
The artist will perform in the Sala Eleonora Tallone on Lake Orta today in the concert 'Sulle ali del canto, da Vivaldi a Bruni', an excursus through melody from the 18th century to the present day, in which the composer crosses all musical registers.

“Pinocchio” di Gloria Bruni ha inaugurato il Festival Primavera Patagonia al Teatro del Lago in Cile. Grande successo per l’opera composta da Gloria Bruni con libretto in spagnolo a firma di Camila Botero. Quasi novecento bambini e ragazzi provenienti da varie regioni del Cile meridionale hanno riempito la platea del Teatro del Lago per assistere alle avventure del più famoso burattino.
Pinocchio” by Gloria Bruni inaugurated the Patagonia Spring Festival at the Teatro del Lago in Chile. Great success for the opera composed by Gloria Bruni with a libretto in Spanish written by Camila Botero. Almost nine hundred children and teenagers from various regions of southern Chile filled the audience of the Teatro del Lago to witness the adventures of the most famous puppet.

Per questa produzione del del Lago, che porta in scena oltre 100 artisti, La Llave Maestra si è occupata della , del design delle luci e dei costumi. La Compagnia è stata impegnata in un lavoro di due anni per questo che associa l’opera e corale con l’ strumentale, la contemporanea e la tradizione circense del Sud America.

The staging of Gloria Bruni's "Pinocchio" is the result of collaboration with internationally renowned workers. For this Teatro del Lago production, which brings on stage over 100 artists, La Llave Maestra took care of the scenography, lighting design and costumes. The company has been involved in two years of work for this show which mixes opera and choral work with the instrumental orchestra, contemporary dance and the circus tradition of South America.

È la sala per concerti più capiente costruita in Cile dal 1950 ad oggi. Il Teatro del Lago a Frutillar non solo offre un’acustica eccezionale, grazie al lavoro dagli architetti Gerardo Köster e Gustavo Greene, ma anche un panorama mozzafiato sul lago Llanquihue, il secondo lago cileno per estensione. Il Teatro del Lago, voluto da Flora Inostroza, all’epoca responsabile delle Semanas Musicales, e dall’imprenditore Guillermo Schiess ed inaugurato a novembre 2010, oggi è considerato uno dei maggiori centri di propulsione culturale in Sud America, attirando artisti da tutto il mondo e portando avanti un attivo programma di diffusione culturale tra bambini e giovani. Nel 2017 l’Unesco ha dichiarato Frutillar città creativa della musica. Il Teatro del Lago accoglie e produce il “Pinocchio” di Gloria Bruni nell’ambito del Festival Primavera Patagonia.

It is the largest concert hall built in Chile from 1950 to today. The Teatro del Lago in Frutillar not only offers exceptional acoustics, thanks to the work of architects Gerardo Köster and Gustavo Greene, but also a breathtaking view of Lake Llanquihue, the second largest Chilean lake. The Teatro del Lago, commissioned by Flora Inostroza, at the time responsible for the Semanas Musicales, and by the entrepreneur Guillermo Schiess and inaugurated in November 2010, is today considered one of the major centers of cultural propulsion in South America, attracting artists from all over the world and carrying out an active program of cultural diffusion among children and young people. In 2017, UNESCO declared Frutillar a creative city of music. The Teatro del Lago welcomes and produces "Pinocchio" by Gloria Bruni as part of the Patagonia Spring Festival.

Prima di essere rappresentata in spagnolo il prossimo 3 novembre al Teatro del Lago in Cile, questa opera ha debuttato nel 2008 alla Laeiszhalle di Amburgo, nel 2013 in Italia con una produzione del Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, su libretto di Lauro Ferrarini, nel 2015 al Teatro Regio di Parma, e, in versione ridotta, all'Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Londra sotto l'Alto Patronato del Presidente della Repubblica Italiana e con il Patrocinio della Fondazione Carlo Collodi. Nel 2016 'Pinocchio' torna ad Amburgo con un nuovo allestimento in lingua tedesca. Nel 2020 “Pinocchio” canta in russo al Teatro Bolshoi di Minsk. Ed infine, nel marzo 2023, il Pinocchio di Gloria Bruni si è esibito in francese all'Opera di Losanna.

The Hamburg concert "Fragments of CREATION" was endorsed by DESY (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron), the national scientific research center on nuclear physics in Germany, which provided a significant contribution through an open discussion on the birth of the universe.

Preparations are underway for "Fragments of Creation" which will be staged in the Cathedral of Saint Catherine in Hamburg on April 27th. Alongside Gloria Bruni on stage will be the Symphoniker Hamburg, the permanent orchestra of the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, conducted by Wolf Kerschek, and the Internationale Chorakademie, conducted by Rolf Beck.
