Today is a special day in Venice! ✨
On the 21st of November, we commemorate Madonna Della Salute (Saint Mary of Health) to celebrate the end of the plague.
As the tradition wants, every year, citizens go on a procession to the Salute church to express gratitude to the Virgin Mary. They walk over the floating bridge - built just for this occasion - and bring a candle to pay homage to Mother Mary.
Venetians will wait inside the church until it's time to light the candles and pray for their health🕯️🕯️🕯️

It Is a wonderful Barocco style Church and behind It there Is a "Mystical Garden" where the Carmelites cultivated medical herbs and produce ..........?????
