Home International Rowing Beach Sprint Regatta - 2023
This weekend a team represented Jersey competing against teams from England Rowing, Welsh Rowing, Scottish Rowing & Rowing Ireland in Saundersfoot, Wales.
Well done to all teams but particularly Welsh Rowing for winning the team trophy and for organising and hosting such an amazing event!
Team Jersey came away with golds in the Senior Women's solo (Natacha Searson) and Senior Mixed Double (Hylton Harvey & Sarah Earles) and a silver in the Senior Men's Solo (Chris Thompson). Our boat handling and support crew of Adam Le Lere, John Searson and Abi Searson put in an amazing effort on the day too.
The results from the weekend could not have been achieved without the hard work, involvement and support from the Jersey Rowing Club community and our beach sprint sponsor Oak Group (Oak Careers). Thank you!
Good luck π to our beach sprint athletes that have been selected to represent Jersey at the Home International Rowing event this weekend πͺπ» and thank you to the amazing support team going along as well!
