We should continue exercise but drop the intensity. With lower levels of Estrogen we have increased levels of cortisol in the body and therefore those regular hiit classes might not be feeling as good anymore!

Instead, aim for 3-4 strength training sessions a week to keep your joints healthy and to increase muscle mass (which will in turn help to burn fat) avoiding the mid section weight gain.

We maybe need also need to rest more. Listen to your body and be more self compassionate.
Eat nutritious food and reduce alcohol intake where possible.
