really impressed at the set up that Jersey H**p have put in place and their determination during what was a ridiculously arduous process getting their business off the ground (literally).

We've just been up to say hello to our fellow horticultural adventurers and this is a photo of happy little h**p plants being grown for seed in Jersey. A long time coming but so nice to see it return to our sunny little Island. It used to be produced by the ship load (literally) at Les Quennevais - that name comes the old French for h**p (canevas) - and was used to make rope for the local ship building industry.

would anyone like some epazote? we have a few spare plants if you're interested. Dysphania ambrosioides to be specific. The Mexican Bean Herb to it's mates - who no doubt enjoy the fresh air and silence that follows a bean dish with epazote in it. Good with fish too.

A is for....Ashwagandha - this is one of our absolute favourites. Excellent for Thyroid particularly it balances your hormones, excellent for stress and anxiety relief, balances your bold sugar levels, helps with memory and muscle strength. Truly one of the best herbs to include in your diet!
