The CAPE Communication Studies Syllabus has been revised for the 2024/2025 School Year. It is a welcomed development because it fleshed out the details of what students should be learning. One of the problems with the old syllabus, other than the fact that it was not revised for over a decade, was that it was not clear enough. Now it is a bit clearer and students know exactly what to study. It also reflects what the students are actually faced with in the exam.

The good thing is that the Foster’s CAPE MCQ&As for Communication Studies was ahead of its time. In writing this book, we looked at the way the exam was designed to ensure that all aspects of the syllabus was examined. Now that the revised syllabus reflects the actually topics seen on the exam, our book is even more relevant and capable of giving students a Grade 1.
