The crowd was lively, as job seekers showed up to see what the was all about. People were given the chance to meet directly with recruiters, to learn about the itel culture, see our amazing workspaces, and meet some of our team members. Our Jamaica teams showed off their vibrant Jamaican colors for our very festive Emancipendence Day celebration – a combination of two very important days in the Caribbean: Emancipation Day on Aug 1st and Jamaica’s Independence Day on Aug 6th. From Kingston to Montego Bay, Jamaican itelers rocked their yellow, green, and black, and gathered to play games, the highlight being an Olympics trivia contest where team members could win prizes for showing off their knowledge of athletics and sports! It was a great time to be had by all, adding a bit of colorful fun to the workday.

Another amazing Olympic win! Rasheed Broadbell just won the bronze in the Men's 110-meter Hurdles. Congratulations ! We're jumping for joy as we cheer you on!

Time to “Big Up” Jamaica’s first gold medal in the ! First-time Olympian, Roje Stona, took home the country’s first gold medal with his impressive, record-breaking 70.00m Men’s Discus Throw inside the Stade de France - lifting the spirits of all Jamaicans both at home and abroad. Congrats to Wayne Pinnock from , who secured a silver in the Men’s Long Jump and Julien Alfred from made history for a second time, winning the silver for the Women’s 200-meter Sprint – securing the first and now the second Olympic medal ever to be won by Saint Lucia! As they say in Jamaican patois, “Frah wha pawt yuh deh?” (Where are you from?) and we would say we’re proudly Jamaican, as we near the big celebration of Jamaica’s ! For those of you who may not know, our company started in Montego Bay back in 2012 and we are fiercely proud of our Caribbean roots. What brings people together better than food and a cause? A delicious brunch wasn’t the only thing on the menu for our Kingston, Jamaica team. There was also “food for thought” as team members engaged in a motivational session meant to inspire and uplift, as they also captured memories in our glammed-out photo area. Our teams in Guyana celebrated by dressing in traditional attire, challenging each other to a friendly cook up competition, to see who could bring in the best traditional dish. While in Honduras, it was yummy treats for a good cause, as itelers were invited to donate toys for a local charity in exchange for some tasty ice cream. What better way to beat the heat?
