What differentiates global elites with the rest?
What qualities do they have and the rest don`t have?

It is actually not a qualitative differentiation,
but the gap lies in their thinking method, which can be
put into practice with some realization and training.

IISIA`s CEO, Takeo Harada, has taught Information Literacy
nationwide as well as worldwide since he voluntarily retired the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2005 and founded this think tank.

His concept of Information Literacy relates back to elite thinking method,
which, if employed by more Japanese, will create
more entrepreneurs and revolutionize Japanese market, which is
bound to rise in the coming years, according to Takeo Harada`s
PAX JAPONICA theory.

【MOU and Agreement with the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management (FSPPM), Fulbright University Vietnam】

Takeo HARADA, CEO and Representative of IISIA, and President of RIJAG, visited the Fulbright University of Vietnam, on January 9, 2020 to attend the MOU and Agreement signing ceremony between IISIA/RIJAG and the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management (FSPPM), a graduate school of Fulbright University Vietnam.

The Fulbright University Vietnam is located in Ho Chi Minh City. Established in 2016 powered by funding from the U.S. Department of State, ESPPM provides a world-class education to graduate students from Vietnam and beyond.

After the MOU signing ceremony, our CEO and Representative Takeo HARADA gave an hour lecture on “information literacy.” This joint-program consists of online course, workshop at their campus in spring, and a few weeks of internship for selected graduate students in summer.

To IISIA/RIJAG, this MOU agreement has become second milestone after UNECON to educate young generation of overseas university with a sole focus on “information literacy”.


It is our strong hope that under the new MOU agreements, the two institutions will be able to enjoy a productive, thriving relationship for the better world long into the future.

CEO and Representative of IISIA, President of RIJAG, Takeo Harada, will participate as a Panelist in the Global Think Tank Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from December 11 to 13. This is the largest gathering of think tank executives from around the world. This year’s Agenda is “Managing Global Turbulence and Transitions: The Role of Think Tanks.” Well over 200 think tank executives and scholars are expected to attend the summit, and IISIA will be featured on one of the most important Panels, “The Climate Change Emergency: No Longer Chicken Little.” Please stay tuned!

Takeo Harada, CEO and Representative of IISIA, President, of RIJAG, is invited as a Panelist to the Opening Presidents’ Panel for the Asia-Pacific Think Tank Summit in Bangkok on Sunday, November 10!

The Agenda is “The Challenges and Opportunities for the Asia Pacific Region and Its Think Tanks in a Time of Transitions and Turmoil.” Over 125 think tank executives and scholars are expected to attend the summit, and IISIA and our CEO will be featured on one of the most important Panels during the summit. Our CEO Takeo Harada Attended GGGW in Seoul as a Moderator!!

Takeo Harada, CEO & Representative of Institute for International Strategy and Information Analysis (IISIA), President of Research Institute for Japan’s Globalization (RIJAG), attended as a Moderator at Parallel Session of 7th Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP) Annual Conference on Tuesday, October 22.

During the session of “Policy and Planning Approaches for the Green Energy”, our CEO welcomed Panelists and Discussant of green energy experts, successfully inviting thought-provoking debate and comments from the participants including the challenges against technology transfer.

While the discussion on climate change and global green growth could sometimes be biased against developed countries, our CEO’s insight on the possibility of Japan’s default has become the driving force for further interesting discussion among the panelists and the international audience.

IISIA continues to capture the opportunity to be committed to the global society with a strong leadership based on our analysis and future scenario.

Our CEO and Representative, Takeo Harada, is invited as a Moderator & Session Chair to the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP) Annual Conference in Seoul next week! GGKP will be sending out live tweets to report the proceedings of the conference to international communities. Please stay tuned!

Our quarterly event "2018 IISIA Summer Seminar" has been successfully done !

Today, Mr. Chen Pokong (陳破空), a well-known Chinese author and political commentator, has visited Takeo HARADA, CEO of IISIA.

Takeo HARADA, had met him at the Cambridge Union’s debate session, where he and Mr.Pokong attended as guest speakers last May.

They enjoyed their reunion by exchanging their opinions on wide range of topics, such as DPRK issue and the US tariff augmentation against China.

They will keep in touch for a future collaboration.

This morning, Takeo HARADA’s interview was broadcasted by “Prime Sunday” a morning news show on FUJI TV network, pointing out that Japanese government will need need to have an intelligence network to negotiate with DPRK for a possible solution to the abduction issue and for the future Japan-DPRK summit.

Today, Takeo HARADA’s interview was broadcasted in “Saturday Station” on TV ASAHI network, commenting on the possibility of Japan-DPRK summit in the near future. He mentioned that Kim Yo-jong, the younger sister of Kim Jong-un will be the key-person for Japan.

Takeo HARADA, CEO of IISIA has supervised a explanatory material showing the possibility of the Japan - DPRK summit in the near future,for “Shinichi HATORI's Morning Show”,a news program on TV Asahi network.
