Yamazaki 1986 Sherry Cask
Distilled in October 1986, matured exclusively in sherry wood casks and bottled in August 2003. This particular Sherry Wood Yamazaki whisky is one of the world’s great single malts. All vintages are world class, this bottle is distilled in 1985 and bottled in 2000. Only 1200 bottles ever made.

Kirin Robert Brown Cube Bottle
This whisky was introduced to the Japanese market in 1982 as a special edition in this futuristic bottle by Kirin. only very few bottles were produced and are therefore very rare. A very mild and round blend from the Kirin distillery at the foot of Mount Fuji was filled.

Yamazaki 1950s Suntory Excellence
An interesting blend, distilled and vatted at Yamazaki, and matured in sherry-cured oak barrels. The bottle bears an unusual Scottish clan-style heraldic label.
Bottled in the 1980s, this Suntory Excellency has an import label on the front suggesting the contents are "Anni Trenta", Italian for 30 years old, meaning the whisky inside may have been distilled as early as the 1950s!

NAGAHAMA SINGLE MALT 100% BOURBON BARREL 50.5%
This Single Malt Nagahama Bourbon Barrel whisky is the latest batch of Nagaham’s first single malt release. Matured in a bourbon cask, it allows you to fully explore everything that Nagahama whisky has to offer, bringing sweet vanilla, hints of coconut, honey and oaky, malty aromas on the nose, before wood spices, juicy apples and fresh pear appear on the palate.

The Akkeshi Shosho is the fouth release in the distillery’s new “24 Solar Terms” lineup.

The majority of the whisky is Akkeshi malt, and the non-aged imported grain is aged in the Akkeshi distillery. While thinking about the golden barley fields with their ears of grain, enjoy the peatiness of the Akkeshi malt and the refreshing sensation of the throat created by the harmony with the grain.

Nikka Pure Malt Hokkaido 12 Year Old Whisky
A vintage/discontinued bottling from Nikka using malt whisky from Yoichi.
This pure malt whisky was the first single malt whisky from Japan which was launched in 1984. He just does not have the name Single Malt Whisky, since this was only introduced in the late 80s in Japan. Only selected malt whiskys from the Yoichi distillery were used for these whiskys.

Suntory Old Whisky is a series of especially mature whisky from Suntory, first released in 1950. The company occasionally releases new bottles of this brand. However, this is a wonderful and very rare old bottle of Suntory’s blended Japanese malt whisky, specially released in commemoration of Kobe Port Island Exposition in 1981.

Hibiki 21 Year Old Ceramic Arita Decanter 2001 Release
The Arita and Kutani ceramic decanters were an annual limited release from Suntory, bottled between 2001 and 2014. Each one contains their exceptional Hibiki 21 year old blend, which contains malt from their Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries, and grain from the Chita distillery.
Arita and Kutani are the pre-eminent ceramic houses in Japan, both located on the islad of Kyushu. Each year, both houses designed a decanter each, and they are all hand-painted.
This is the Arita 2001 release, bottled "for the year 2002."
