Boom, another half a meter of Snow overnight for Nozawa

Once again a massive 50cm of fresh snow since close of lifts in Nozawa and we have smashed thru the 2 meter base mark waking up to 210cm up top at Yamabiko! A chilly -8 degrees and the snow is going to be light and plentiful across the whole resort. Skyline now opened up and just the top of Karasawa to the right of the resort and a few lower runs yet to open. But can be pretty sure they will be open for the New Years Holiday.

Looks like we should see some sun later today and tomorrow but it is almost scary to look at what lies ahead and if the forecast is right we could see another 150cm fall next week. Hang on to your beanie it is going to be a wild ride.
