✨The Plantの巨匠を発見！？アートでチームビルディング！✨ 🖼️


先日のチームビルディングでは、ワインを片手に油絵制作。今回のチームビルディングは売れっ子アーティスト気分を皆で満喫😊

作品に取りかかる前に10分間でテーマを決めるのですが、ザ・プラントにはアイデアマンがたくさん！どのチームも多くの意見が飛び交い大盛り上がり💡✨

それぞれが各パーツを描き、最後に一つの作品を組み合わせて完成です🎨😁

ダイナミックさや繊細さ、面白い要素を取り入れたりなど、それぞれの性格が作品に表れてきました🤭絵を通じてお互いの好みや考えを知ったり、意見を共有しながら、一緒に作品を完成させるプロセスはユニークなチームビルディングです。パズルの繋ぎ目や色使いが見事にマッチすると感動し、あちこちから歓声が上がっていました🙌🙌

完成後は、お互いのテーマや感想を発表し、まるで学生時代にタイムスリップし、美術の授業を受けているような懐かしい感覚でした✨たまには感性を研ぎ澄ますアクティビティもいいものですね！
次回は全員でもっと大きな作品を共に仕上げ、会社に飾るのも良いかもしれません❣️
みんなでまた協力して創作するのが楽しみです👏

Team Building through art : Discovering The Plant’s hidden artists!✨🖼️

At our recent team-building event, we all got to play the role of an artist for a day with some oil painting fun!

In just 10 minutes, each team brainstormed their themes, and with so many creative minds at The Plant, ideas were flowing!✨

We each painted different parts, coming together to create a single, vibrant masterpiece. The result? A fun and refreshing activity that showcased everyone’s unique style and personality. 🎨😁　

We learned so much about each other’s tastes and thought processes- and we’re already excited for the next creative project❣️ Maybe a bigger art piece for the office?👏

そうしたテクノロジーが気候変動を加速させる一方で、地球温暖化防止に役立っている一面もあります。

それが「グリーンコーディング」です。
持続可能な未来をサポートする強力な方法と言われ、環境に配慮した効率的なコード作成やサーバーを使用し、不要データの削減を通じて、コンピューティングエネルギーを最小限に抑えるソフトウェア開発手法です。こうした手法で効率化を進めることで、二酸化炭素排出量を減らし、引いては、光熱費の削減にもつながります。

今はまだ、グリーンコーディングに関する議論は多岐に渡っており、その考え方が今後浸透していくかどうかについては未知数です。とは言え、こうした持続可能な未来に向けた技術革新が加速していることや、コーディングがエネルギー消費削減に貢献できる可能性について知ることは大切ですよね。

One powerful way that we can support a sustainable future is through “Green Coding”.

Green Coding is an environmentally sustainable computing practice that seeks to minimize computing energy by crafting software with environmentally conscious software, writing efficient code, using eco-friendly servers, and reducing unnecessary data. This not only lowers a software’s carbon footprint but also improves efficiency and reduces utility bills.

While opinions on Green Coding vary and the jury is still out on whether eco-friendly coding will become the norm, it is exciting to see the accelerating pace of innovations for a more sustainable future, and to know that even with coding, every keystroke can help reduce energy consumption!

ボウリングが得意なメンバーは、ターキーを出したり、自己流の投げ方を伝授したりと本気度が違う！
ちょっぴり苦手なメンバーも、ストライクとガーターを繰り返して忙しそう！ちょっとボールの用途がおかしい、完全に遊びモードに入ってるメンバーもいたりとさまざま🤣

部署を超えたメンバー同士でチームを組み、ハイタッチで喜びを分かち合いながら親睦を深めました。🍽️😀

✨We had been waiting for this! Our 2nd Bowling Tournament🎳

In May, We held our 2nd bowling tournament as part of our monthly company social event! 😊👏
Our skilled bowlers impressed everyone by scoring turkeys and shared their unique techniques! Even those of us who weren’t as confident alternated between strikes and gutter balls, and some members got very creative in their use of the bowling ball 🤣
We formed teams with members from different departments, shared accomplishments with high-fives, and strengthened our bonds.🍽️😀
This event was a fantastic way to get some exercise as we usually spend a lot of time at our desks!💪

先月の懇親会はタコパ！

そもそもタコ焼きが初めてというメンバーもいる中、タコ以外を入れたオリジナルタコ焼きや、リゾットボールなど、もはやタコ焼きと言えないオリジナルの何かがたくさん生み出されていました🐙😊中には自宅からパンを焼いてきてくれたメンバーも🥖

ちなみに２枚目の写真はプロダクトチームが真剣な表情でタコ焼きに立ち向かう姿を激写📸🤭 弊社プロダクトチームはどんな「プロダクト」にもこだわります(笑)

後半はジェスチャーゲームを開催！
お題は「酔っ払い」「ボディーガード」「スパイダーマン」などの変わり種を用意。名演技・珍演技が続出した中、みんなのコミカルな動きに泣き笑いするメンバーも！

いつも協力的なみんなのおかげで、ゲームも盛り上がり楽しく過ごすことができました。

Last month's social gathering was a takoyaki party!
For some members, it was their first time making and tasting takoyaki. Alongside the classic octopus-filled takoyaki, we had original creations like risotto balls and also enjoyed some homebaked bread as well!🥖
The second picture captures the serious expressions of our product team diving into the takoyaki! 📸🤭 They are meticulous about every “product” they handle!
During the second half of the party, we held a charades game! Some of the funny characters acted out included "drunkard,” "bodyguard,” and "Spider-Man.” Amidst stellar performances and some hilarious moments, everyone couldn't help but laugh at each other's comical movements!
Thanks to everyone's cooperation, the games were lively and enjoyable.

実は、ゴルフは初めて！というスタッフや、めちゃくちゃ久しぶり！というスタッフばかり。空振りがいたるところで続出😆止まっているボールを打つだけなのに、なかなか難しいと実感🤭

ボールが天井にあたったり、後ろへ飛ぶという珍プレーもあり、笑えるショットも満載😄一方経験者からは、他メンバーへのフォーム指導が始まっていました🎵

BBQでは、料理上手のメンバーが味付けを担当し、みんなは交代で焼き係を担当しました。ゴルフで体を動かしたり、飲んだり食べたりオシャベリしたりと、みんな大忙しでした🌷懇親会終了後は、ルンルン気分で二次会へ向かうメンバーも🎈🎉

普段は真剣な表情で仕事をしているマネージャー達のおもしろショットなどを見ることができ、愉快なひとときでした✨ザ・プラントでは、毎月懇親会を開催中。暖かくなってきたので企画の幅も広がりそうで楽しみです。👌😊

The Plant’s first Simulation Golf Tournament & BBQ night! 🏌️‍♀️⛳️✨
Many of our team members tried their hand at golf for the first time or rediscovered the joy of the game after ages! Throughout the evening, swing-and-miss balls were all too common😆, and we realized that hitting a stationary ball isn’t as easy as it looks!🤭There were some amusing shots, including balls hitting the ceiling or flying backward! 😄

Our experienced players kindly offered swing tips to the rest of us while we enjoyed a delicious BBQ for dinner, expertly seasoned and grilled by members on cooking and grilling duty. Throughout the evening, we thoroughly enjoyed golf, chatting, eating, and drinking 🌷 After the team networking event, some members headed to an impromptu next gathering in high spirits 🎈🎉
It was a delightful evening seeing our usually serious managers letting loose and having a good time with their amusing golf shots ✨ Here at The Plant, we make sure to balance work and play with monthly team networking events. With warmer weather approaching, we’re looking forward to even more enjoyable activities together. 👌😊

With insights from 24,959 individuals across 40+ countries, this is the largest study of its kind on the gender exercise gap.

✨大盛り上がり！！祝・春節前夜祭🤩🇨🇳

中国チームから忘年会と春節前夜祭の街の様子の写真が送られてきました📸😉

テーブルにずらりと豪華な料理がならび、対句や赤い提灯などでお部屋をデコレート。街では爆竹や花火を打ち上げるなど活気溢れています✨🏮✨🎇

前夜祭は家族みんなが食事に集まり再会を祝うとても大切な日。
地域によってお料理内容が異なり、北部では餃子が出ますが、南部では餃子の代わりに地域の特産物が出されるそう😄ちなみに北部の餃子は面白い習慣があり、餃子にコインを包んで、それが当たった人は来年幸運があるという言いつたえも🥟🪙

同じ祝日でも国によって過ごし方はさまざま。ザ・プラントには多国籍のメンバーたちがいるので、また彼らの祝日の過ごし方を紹介していきたいと思います🎵

✨Exciting Atmosphere!! Celebrating Chinese New Year's Eve 🤩🇨🇳

Our China team shared some wonderful photos from our Chinese New Year year-end party, offering a glimpse into the festive atmosphere of the city during the celebration period📸😉.
A lavish spread of dishes lined the table, and the room was beautifully decorated with red lanterns and couplets crafted by members of our Chinese Tech team😳! The city was bustling with excitement as firecrackers and fireworks illuminated the sky✨🏮✨🎇.
Chinese New Year’s Eve holds great significance as families come together for a meal, cherishing the joys of reunions. Culinary traditions vary across regions; while dumplings are a staple in the north, southern regions enjoy their own local specialties😄. Our team also shared an interesting tradition from the north, where a coin is wrapped and hidden within a dumpling, bringing good luck to whoever finds it 🥟🪙!
New Year celebrations are a global affair, but the diverse ways in which it’s observed are truly fascinating. Here at The Plant with our multinational team, we take joy in sharing the unique holiday traditions from different countries 🎵

中国帰省中のため残念ながら参加が難しかったメンバーもいますが、いつもとは違う旧正月の豪華なお料理を前に早速乾杯🍺
北京ダックなども入っているコース料理を満喫していると、気付けばおしゃべりチームと料理が到着するとすぐに平らげる食欲旺盛チームに😋男性陣は唐辛子を沢山使った炒め料理を前に、どの唐辛子が一番辛いか、ロシアンルーレットを始めていました🤭

愉快な仲間たちとの楽しい時間はあっという間✨
互いの文化を共有し、尊重し、感謝し合える仲間です。💁‍♀️
また来月、みんなとの再会が楽しみです😉

The Plant celebrates the New Year twice?! 🪅🧧
Starting with "新年快乐!" (Happy New Year in Chinese) greetings, our Tokyo members recently gathered to celebrate the Lunar New Year 🥳
Although some members couldn’t join this time due to their trips back to China to celebrate with family and friends, those present enjoyed a sumptuous feast of Lunar New Year delicacies🍺.
The team’s appetite was voracious, and dishes such as Beijing Duck were quickly devoured, accompanied by lively discussions and conversations!
As dish after dish arrived, we even played a game of Russian roulette with spicy dishes, trying to determine which chili was spiciest.🤭
We really enjoyed ourselves, and time flew by in the blink of an eye! ✨
We feel incredibly fortunate and proud to have a team that genuinely respects, appreciates, and shares each other’s cultures.💁‍♀️

オフィスは３拠点、社員数７９名、９割以上が外国籍社員。そんな私たちを繋ぐのは、日々の感謝レターや誕生日・勤続年数のお祝いメッセージなどを共有するカルチャーです。

私たちの共通の場所はインターネット上なので、そこでのコミュニケーションを大切にしています😃

対面で会う機会が少なくても、皆との繋がりを感じることができる秘訣は、こうしたメッセージのやりとりや、ネット上のLunch & Learn、月１回のミートアップなど、お互いの存在を感謝する場所を作っているからに他なりません。今年は感謝レターを共有できるツールの導入も検討中なので、ますます「ありがとう」が増えそうです💐❣️

✨✨Overflowing with gratitude at The Plant✨✨

We currently have three office locations with a total of 79 employees, 90% of whom are foreign nationals. What connects us as a team is the culture of sharing messages of gratitude, birthday celebrations, and congratulating employees on their years of service at The Plant.

Since we’re mostly connected online, we truly value expressing ourselves through close-knit communication 😃.

Even though we have few opportunities to all get together in person, the key to feeling connected lies in daily communication, participating in online “Lunch & Learn” sessions where employees are freely able to share on any topic they wish, and planning our local monthly meetups. These opportunities help to create special spaces to appreciate each other’s presence.
This year, we are introducing new tools and methods to share messages of gratitude so that we can have more chances to spread our 'thank you’s' 💐❣️

今年初の社内イベントは、キッチンスペースを貸切し、社員特製の手料理会でした😻

モロッコ風ラムタジン鍋。中国の汁なし火鍋。イタリアントマトソースパスタ＆ティラミス。タイシーフードヌードルサラダなど。多国籍料理で初めていただく物もありました🍽️メインシェフたちはもちろん、アシスタントシェフ役の社員たちの見事な包丁さばきなど、みんなの意外な一面を発見🥒🍅✨

各国特有のスパイスが効いた料理はとてもおいしく、さまざまな国出身の社員たちもいたるところで楽しんでいて、終始和やかなムードでした😁お酒も進みとても良い新年会となりました🍷

代表自ら食器洗いや、みんなが率先して交代で片付けをするなど、自然と協力的なのはThe Plant のいいところ🤝👧これからもThe Plantでは、お互いのことをよりよく知れる機会をたくさん作っていきます🥰

The Plant’s New Year’s Event🎉: Multinational Cuisine Festival🧑‍🍳🍳

For our first company get together of the year, we secured a private kitchen space for the evening and savored special homemade cuisines prepared by our talented team members😻!

From Moroccan-style Lamb Tagine, Chinese Hot Pot, Italian Tomato-based Pasta, Thai Seafood Noodle Salad, and Tiramisu, our diverse selection of delicious international dishes introduced many of us to new flavors🍽️. Our main chefs and assistant chefs showcased impressive knife and cooking skills, revealing unexpected talents throughout the evening🥒🍅✨.

The final dishes were infused with unique spices from various countries, symbolizing The Plant’s rich international culture. As the year’s initial gathering, it was fantastic to get together with everyone and relish the home cooked dishes paired with some drinks🍷😁
Post-dinner, even our CEO joined in washing the dishes, with everyone taking turns to actively clean up! Cooperation is ingrained in The Plant’s team culture, and this dinner was no different🤝👧.
We look forward to creating as many opportunities for employees to get together and strengthen our team bond🥰

先日、DJもいて東京タワーのライトアップも間近に見えるとてもステキな雰囲気のレストランで忘年会を実施しました🥂✨乾杯はシャンパンから始まり、メインがローストビーフのコース料理を頂きました🍽️食事後は席を移動し、他部署の方々とも会話も弾みました✨普段はリモート業務でなかなかみんなと対面では会えませんが、当社は忘年会だけで無く、毎月このように実際に会って楽しめるイベントを大事にしています。クリスマスシーズンという事もあり、参加が難しかったメンバーもいますが、また一緒に食事会やアクティビティなど楽しみましょう♡
今年も大変お世話になりました🎵We wish you all a happy holiday season 🎉

The other day we held our year-end party at a wonderful restaurant that had a DJ and spectacular views of the Tokyo tower light up!🥂✨

Our dinner started with champagne toast, and we enjoyed some roast beef for the main course!🍽️

After the meal, we switched seats so that all members had a chance to catch up. Since we allow remote work, it’s not too often that we can see everyone together, however we provide monthly opportunities and get togethers for anyone in the company that wants to join so that we can enjoy each other’s company!

As it is the holiday season, not all members were able to join this time as some members have taken trips back to their home countries or are on holiday, however it was great to be able to get together, and we look forward to seeing everyone again soon ♡

We recently hosted our Inside EC Event in collaboration with FCC Tokyo with a panel discussion on the transformational power of data-driven personalization and Generative AI and how these forces are shaping the future of E-Commerce.

Our esteemed panelists shared invaluable insights, sparking thought-provoking discussions that resonated across diverse professional domains.

During the networking time that followed, everyone was able to make new connections, discuss the topic further, and enjoy some good food and refreshments!

We are back with Volume 2 of the wonderful Company Trip that we had in Thailand recently 🤩✨

While in Thailand, we were able to indulge in some fun activities together, such as Thai cooking class, marine activities, and even tried some edible insects🐛‼️

Here at The Plant, we have employees from 11 different countries (including members from Thailand)👨‍💻. One important company culture point that we proudly advocate is “accepting each other’s cultural differences”. Through local activities and team building activities, this company trip allowed us to further deepen our bond as a team and as a company with diverse backgrounds🌏🤝!
