1936: A precious year.

The 1936 High Jewelry collection represents an array of precious and vibrant gemstones. Inspired by Fred Samuel’s profound affection for color, this High Jewelry collection displays a set of a Vivid pink sapphire ring, a Vivid red ruby ring and a Pastel Blue aquamarine ring. They are all set with diamonds to magnify the clarity of the gems and their exceptionally precious colors.

1936: A precious year.

In tribute to the year in which the Maison was founded, the 1936 collection is inspired by two key codes of the Maison: the arch, a great symbol of FRED’s first boutique on Rue Royale and Fred Samuel’s boundless passion for colored stones.
A 2.01-carat pink sapphire and a 1.62-carat emerald are set on two cocktail rings highlighted by diamonds and onyx. They are inspired by the vibrant hues of the Mediterranean aesthetic and joie de vivre.

Pretty Woman collection evokes a vivid memory for the Maison: "When our Rodeo Drive boutique in Beverly Hills received a visit in 1990 from the production team of the film “Pretty Woman”, at the time seeking a jewelry piece for its leading actress, we had no idea that the necklace of hearts set with diamonds and rubies they chose would become a special part of the movie”.
