Earlier today we made our input at the public participation forum for the Kisumu County Annual Development Plan 2021-2022. This will go a long way in aiding our Post COVID19 recovery plans for our community.

We have listened to your suggestions and will therefore have a free 30 minute Zoom session at 11am. This is for those who would wish to attend but cannot Due to the Covid19 protocols.

It is with deep regret to learn about the untimely demise Mr. George Obura Ojwang' (Obura Kokwa) who was one of the founder members of Lela Community Emergency Response (LeCER).

Obura has died a you man who still had a lot to do in the society by virtue of his visionary nature.

As LeCER and LeMYG office, we wish to register our sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family, relatives and friends of Mr Obura Kokwa. We pray that they may find courage, peace and comfort in the Lord during this grieving moment.

His profound personality is memorable. I always cherished his enthusiasm hard working capability, organizational skills , his philanthnropic nature and his well planned and disciplined life.

Lela Community will dearly miss this ever jovial man.😭
