Today, on World Kidney Day, we want to remind everyone of the importance of taking care of our kidneys. Our kidneys play a vital role in removing waste and excess fluid from our bodies, maintaining our blood pressure, and producing hormones that help regulate our blood sugar and red blood cell production.

Unfortunately, kidney disease is a growing problem worldwide, with millions of people affected by it. This is why it is so important to take steps to protect our kidneys, such as:

1. Eating a healthy diet that is low in salt and saturated fats
2. Staying hydrated by drinking plenty of water
3. Avoiding to***co and excessive alcohol consumption
4. Monitoring blood pressure and blood sugar levels regularly
5. Regular exercise
6. Regular health check-ups.

It was a peace race and sensitization to the community on health maters. We did a 2 day medical camp at west pokot county(Tarkwel). We enlightened the community on importance of health and donated medicine that will atleats last them for a while. Vitamin products were also given due to malnourishment." Reale cares for you".

This initiative was started by H.E Governor Jonathan Bii chelilim to join the national government in fighting food insecurity and to help families and children suffering from hunger.
