The hand of Old Croghan Man, a 2000-year-old bog body that has been naturally mummified in a peat bog. Based on his arm span, the man is believed to have been 6'6'' - quite a height for his era! His nails appear to be manicured, which has led to speculation that he was not someone who engaged in manual labour, and was possibly therefore of high status.
Unlike most ancient human remains, bog bodies have retained their skin and internal organs due to unusual conditions inside a bog that cause the co**se to mummify.
Bull of Falaris"
Thanks to Lucian, the 2nd century AD satirist, we know quite a bit about the torture machine known as "the brass bull of Perilaus" or "the bull of Phalaris".
The sculptor Perilaos between 570-560 BC.
he made to the order of the tyrant Phalaris, a brass bull that could fit an entire man inside. When they lit a fire under the bull, the one inside was roasted alive and his voices were heard, through a special mechanism, like the bellowing of the bull.
When he first presented his invention to the tyrant of Acragantas of Sicily, he ordered Perilaus to be put inside the bull and made his first victim.
It was a fitting end for the inventor of such a diabolical machine.

A giant ship's engine broke down and no one could repair it, so they hired a Mechanical Engineer with over 30 years of experience.
He inspected the engine very carefully, from top to bottom. After seeing everything, the engineer unloaded his bag and pulled out a small hammer.
He knocked something gently. Soon, the engine came to life again. The engine has been fixed!
A week later the engineer mentioned to the ship owner that the total cost of repairing the giant ship was $20,000.
"What?!" said the owner.
"You did almost nothing. Give us a detailed bill."
The answer is simple:
Tap with a hammer: $2
Know where to knock and how much to knock: $19,998
The importance of appreciating one's expertise and experience...because those are the results of struggles, experiments and even tears.
If I do a job in 30 minutes it's because I spent 20 years learning how to do that in 30 minutes. You owe me for the years, not the minutes.
The Titanic was a British passenger liner that is famously remembered for its tragic sinking on its maiden voyage in 1912. Here are some key details about the Titanic:
1. Construction: The Titanic was built by the Harland and Wolff shipyard in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Construction began in 1909, and the ship was completed in 1912. It was one of the largest and most luxurious ships of its time.
2. Size and Dimensions: The Titanic was approximately 882 feet 9 inches (269 meters) long, 92 feet 6 inches (28 meters) wide, and had a gross tonnage of about 46,328 tons. It had nine decks and could accommodate around 2,435 passengers and 900 crew members.
3. Features and Amenities: The Titanic boasted several luxurious amenities, including a swimming pool, gymnasium, Turkish bath, squash court, and several opulent dining areas. It was equipped with the latest technological advancements, including an extensive wireless communication system.
4. Maiden Voyage: The Titanic set sail from Southampton, England, on April 10, 1912, with stops scheduled in Cherbourg, France, and Queenstown (now Cobh), Ireland, before heading towards New York City, USA.
5. Sinking: On the night of April 14, 1912, the Titanic struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic Ocean, about 375 miles (600 kilometers) south of Newfoundland, Canada. The ship's hull was pierced, causing water to flood several compartments. Despite the efforts to save the ship, it sank in the early hours of April 15, 1912.
6. Casualties: The sinking of the Titanic resulted in the loss of more than 1,500 lives, making it one of the deadliest maritime disasters in history. The majority of the casualties were passengers who were unable to escape due to a shortage of lifeboats.
The oxygen is gone. 😭
Those are the words that showed up on my phone this morning. The Titanic submarine with 5 people, had 96 hours of oxygen.
A man named Stockton Rush is one of the 5 aboard this sub. He is the CEO of OceanGate which operates this vessel. Stockton is a billionaire.
Stockton’s wife is the great- great granddaughter of Isidro and Ida Strauss; the well known couple who died on the Titanic in 1912. Isidor is known for making sure all women and children were first in reaching safety. Ida, refused to leave his side.
While there are lots of emotional stories that can be taken from all of this; my first thought is the unknown of how our lives will end. None of these people decided to leave the planet this way. They were explorers, adventurers, researchers.
All of that being said, one thing is true…money will never be your greatest investment. It will never be your last thought to have wished for more. Rather, your relationships will now be front and center. The people you love and who have loved you- are the investments. And even greater, is your investment with Jesus.
So while you are reading this, and have the oxygen to comprehend your life, make sure you have a life-line with Jesus.
My prayers are with them & family 🙇🏻♂️✨

WHAT YOU DON'T KNOW WILL REMAIN A MYSTERY TO YOU
The Namibian tribal people in a remote African desert live a happy life, but it is all torn to pieces when a Coca-Cola bottle falls from a plane. The confusion and myth surrounding the strange object disorganized the bushmen as they made efforts to unravel the mystery object.
Some of them peep into the bottle, some tap at it, some brought the bottle closer to their ear as they listen very closely to see if it makes some noise, some blow air into it and try to fashion a flute out of it, some taste it with their tongs to see if it has peculier taste, some shake it violently to make some meaning out of it.
In the midst of the confusion, fight broke out among the bushmen as one hit the bottle on the head of another. The elders separated the fight and in anger threw away the bottle but later went back to pick it and the search for the meaning of the strange object took them to distant lands. What you don't know remains a mystery to you.
Did you know?
Some people only care about their own lust, only create children without responsibility. You must understand that the child did not come to ask us to be born, only we are the creator. Therefore, parents who are really grateful to their children must fulfill the following conditions:
▪️Raising children with love
▪️Raising your children with compassion
▪️Raising children responsibly.
Stand and be counted.

Why is it Important to Trade our Natural Resources in our own Currency
1. If we trade our resources in foreign currency, it means that anytime our resources is needed, those who are in need of our resources will first have to demand for the foreign currency in which our resources are traded.
To get that currency eg Euro, there are two options.
1. Either the person who needs our resources use his/her human capital or energy to work in an EU country to obtain this Euro. When this is done, it means, that person has created real value in the EU economy in order to obtain their sovereign capital which is the Euro currency. Or
2. The person has to go to the global financial market to demand for the Euro on the market. When this is done, it means the person has created demand for the Euro on the market and when a market demand for a currency or any product increases the price increase; here the Euro will gain in its exchange rate and this means our local currency ralatively depreciates making all those operating in the local currency lose real economic value.
For this reason, an average rational human being will like to offer his skills to work in the Euro or Dollar economy in order to obtain these currencies even when his basic need is our valuable resources or products. Because once obtained those currencies, he can freely walk into Africa to take our valuable resources with the foreign currency. He has created value somewhere and he is taking value from us.
However, if these valuable resources of ours are made to be exchanged in our African Continental Currency, many people will like to work in the African economy to obtain this currency to exchange the valuables resources or go on the global financial market to demand African currency to buy African resources. This will ensure that Africa attracts high humans resources to contribute to her development or have high demand for her currency to increase its value.

The giant popularly known as "Hungry Lion", was the strongest man in the Old Kwara State, and one of the toughest in Nigeria's history.
Hungry Lion, who's real name is Hassan Kumar is a native of Ebira in modern day Kogi State.
Historical accounts reveal that he was once regarded as the strongest man in Kogi Central which was previously a part of Kwara State.
Standing at a towering height of over 8feet tall, his strength was legendary, as he could pull a vehicle with a rope tied to his teeth, carry five bags of cement on his chest, and even transport a motorcycle with a rider on his shoulder.
Hungry Lion could give Anthony Joshua a run for his money.
Interestingly, he was married twice, first to an Ebira woman and then to a woman from Maiduguri.
From his union with his Ebira wife, he fathered a son who currently resides in Kuroko. The life and feats of this remarkable man continue to inspire and fascinate people, even long after his time.
He died November 4, 1988 in Kaduna and was buried in his home town in Kogi.
This is the nailed skull of an Iberian warrior preserved in the National Archaeological Museum.
According to researchers, ancient Iberians were some of the peoples who prepared and publicly displayed the severed heads of their defeated enemies as trophies, sometimes alongside seized weapons.
They even used to hammer large nails through the severed heads (some 40 such heads were found in the Iberian settlement of Ullastret, for instance).
This ritual custom and its staging reaffirmed leaders’ power.
