UDA Party Leader President William William Samoei Ruto chaired the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting where a raft of decisions were agreed.

Among other things, the meeting agreed and approved an amendment to the UDA Party Constitution creating one position of the Deputy Party Leader and created two offices of
Assistant Deputy Party Leaders. This NEC said was to align the Party’s structural leadership with the national governance structure.

The Constitution initially created three positions of Deputy Party Leader.

Deputy Party Leader, Deputy President H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, EGH attended the key meeting.

PRAYERS AND IFTAR DINNER AT STATE HOUSE

UDA National Vice Chairman Hassan Omar Hassan was honoured to attend prayers and Iftar Dinner hosted by Dr William Samoei Ruto President of the Republic of Kenya, for Muslim leaders at State House, Nairobi last evening.

The UDA Party has announced an elaborate schedule of the four phased grassroots election running from April to August 2024.

In a meeting chaired by the Party leader President William Samoei Ruto for the National Steering Committee, the team also nominated the National Elections board and the Disputes Resolutions Committee.
