The Cone Thief - A Thrilling Team Game for Kids!

Objective:
Become the ultimate cone thief by outsmarting the opposing team and securing the most cones within the time limit.

Materials:

- Cones (blue and red)
- Whistle
- Open outdoor space

Setup:

1. Divide kids into two teams, each assigned a side of the play area.

2. Scatter blue cones on one side and red cones on the other, representing each team's treasures.

Game Rules:

1. Each team aims to steal as many cones (opposing team's cones) as possible and bring them to their side, while also protecting their cones.

2. The game lasts for one minute, creating a fast-paced and exhilarating experience.

3. Players must use strategic moves and teamwork to outmaneuver the opponents.

4. When the whistle blows, the cone thieving stops, and teams count their collected cones.
5. The team with the most stolen cones at the end wins!

Tips for Added Fun:
- Encourage creative strategies for both offense and defense.
- Designate a "guardian" on each team to protect their own cones.
- Emphasize good sportsmanship and teamwork.

Farmer’s Well And Witty Birbal

Once a man sold his well to a farmer. Next day when a farmer went to draw the water from that well, the man did not allow him to draw the water from it. He said, “I have sold you the well, not the water, so you cannot draw the water from the well.”

The farmer became very sad and came to the Emperor’s court. He described everything to the Emperor and asked for justice.

The Emperor called Birbal and handed over this case to him. Birbal called the man who sold the well to the farmer. Birbal asked, “Why don’t you let him use the water of the well. You have sold the well to the farmer.”
The man replied, “Birbal, I have sold the well to the farmer, not the water. He has no right to draw the water from the well.”

Then Birbal smiled and said to him, “Good, but look, since you have sold the well to this farmer, and you claim that water is yours, then you have no right to keep your water in the farmer’s well. Either you pay rent to the farmer to keep your water in his well, or you take that out of his well immediately.”

The man understood that his trick has failed. Birbal has outwitted him.

Moral of the story: ‘Don’t try to cheat. You will end up paying for it regardless of how smart you think you are.’

Don’t take life so seriously! Learn to laugh at the little things and this whole “existence” thing will be a whole lot easier. Be amused by your mistakes and failures and be thankful that you learned your lesson and won’t mess up like that again. And most importantly do things that you enjoy! Life is not strictly business, it can be mixed with pleasure.

Young Man And Little Boy Conversation:

About ten years ago, A very successful young man was passing by a street in neighborhood in his only two month sleek and black Jaguar. He was going much faster. He was watching kids playing there and slowed down his car as he thought he saw something.

As his car passed suddenly a brick sailed out and Whump!! – that brick smashed into the side door to new shiny jaguar. Young man slammed brakes and geared into reverse, back to the place where the brick had been thrown. He jumped out of car and pushed kid against his parked car.

He shouted, “Why you threw brick? What was that all about? who are you? What are you doing? That’s my new Jaguar and that brick you threw is now gonna cost you a lot of money.”

Boy pleaded, “Please sir, I am so sorry! I did not knew what else to do! I threw brick at you because no one else would stop.”

Tears coming out of boy’s eyes as he pointed toward a parked car he said, “It’s my brother sir. He rolled off curb and feel out of his wheel chair and I can’t lift him up back on his wheel chair. Would you please help me get him back. He is hurt and too heavy for me to lift.”

Moved by his words, Young man hurried to the boy who fell off his wheelchair, Lifted him back into his wheelchair and took out his handkerchief, wiped his wounds checking to see that everything is OK. Then he watched younger brother push him back to their home down the sidewalk.

Young man kept the dent to remind him not to go through life so fast that someone has to throw a brick at him to get his attention.
