THE KENYA PEACEBUILDING ARCHITECTURE- PBA REVIEW VALIDATION MEETING! Our Executive Director Mr. Nicholas Songora was part of the National validation meeting for the peacebuilding architecture review process held on 24th October 2023 at the PrideInn Azure Hotel in Nairobi. The strategic meeting led by the independent Panel of Advisors-IPA brought together participants from across the country. Building from a process that commenced in March 2023 with a successful fieldwork in 33 counties. Engaging with National and County Experts. Consultations with Key informants, future workshops, and surveys. Our consistent participation from Idea, inception, and fieldwork to the validation meeting leaves us happy as the voices of young people, women, and Artists are well factored in. The dream to have peacebuilding decisions devolved to the grassroots level for community ownership is finally coming to realization. We are optimistic about the launch and are committed to the implementation journey. DIGITAL PEACEBUILDING AS A KEY STRATEGY UNDER THE KENYAN PEACEBUILDING ARCHITECTURE REVIEW PROCESS! Yesterday Manyatta Youth Entertainment- {Community based organization} Executive Director Mr. Nicholas Songora Joined other Digital Peacebuilding practitioners at a Focal group discussion on the ongoing Kenyan peacebuilding architecture Review process at Tamarind Hotel Mombasa hosted by Code For Africa and UNDP Kenya The meeting convened a team of 11 experts from Mombasa and Lamu invited from Government, Academia, Civil Society, Youth Affairs, and Students Union among others engaged in a fruitful discussion. They made proposals and recommendations aimed at strengthening Digital peacebuilding in the Country.
Today our Programs Coordinator Mr. Ndarigho Esther joined other Young Change leaders from the rest of the world for a Panel discussion on 'Actionizing Human Fraternity and Compassion' at the ongoing Global Youth Summit in India organized by the Zayed Award For Human Fraternity. The role of the youth in spreading the gospel and actions in the Human fraternity is crucial, especially during these difficult moments when the high cost of living, and inter-ethnic-political rivalry are high. The present and future are defined by the Youth and women. As an organization, Manyatta Youth Entertainment- {Community based organization} is committed to the UN Resolutions 2250 and 1325 connecting to the African Union Agenda 2063, building on Africa we all want to see with a focus on silencing the Guns.
THE 2023 GLOBAL YOUTH SUMMIT ON HUMAN FRATERNITY AND COMPASSION! As a result of devolving the spirit of human fraternity at the grassroots level, Manyatta Youth Entertainment- {Community based organization} is honored to form part of the ongoing annual Youth Summit organized by the Zayed Award For Human Fraternity at Viratnagar, Rajasthan in India. Our Program Coordinator Ms. Ndarigho Esther is part of the Panelists sharing the inspirational work in the coastal region of Kenya. She shall today be speaking on Actioning Human Fraternity and Compassion. Among the top Charismatic Speakers in the Summit is our Own Board Member, Mama Shamsa Fadhil the ZAYED Micro-enterprise Seed Support Grant Project Director, who has been very instrumental in motivating women and young leaders. As an organization, we are devoted to spreading Compassion and love among the youth, women and general communities. Service to Humanity is service to God.
