Equal Pay, Equal Work.
The Gender Wage disparity is a subject most Employers and Law- makers have swept it under the carpet since time immemorial.
Most corporations with an equal demand of both genders' labour, still have a huge gap on pay distribution among the two genders. It's a common place to find that a male and a female with the same work experience, equal skills, balanced abilities and same work, there's still discrimination in payment whereby for every dollar that a male worker makes, the female will earn 77 cents. This has continuously dragged the female behind in terms of having an extra coin to save and reduce dependency.
Both genders should be accorded equal treatment and pay in our workplaces and complementary policies on equal pay should be put in place to cushion the female against discrimination.Remember that a decrease in the Male-Female Wage Gap will lower cases of Domestic Violence.

AGRIBUSINESS & FOOD SECURITY
Agricultural development has tremendous potential to enhance food security while creating opportunities and raising income for the world’s poor, three-quarters of whom live in rural areas. In low-income countries, the agricultural sector often accounts for half or more of GDP and 60 to 80 percent of total employment.
In support of one of our government's big 4 Agenda i.e. Food Security and Agriculture, we encourage people to engage in Agricultural activities e.g. kitchen gardening for the town dwellers. This will cut some daily expenses and offer us varieties on our menus while maintaining a healthy and food secured population.

FOOD SECURITY IS A HUMAN RIGHT;
The right to food is one of our economic and social rights, which the state is required to take steps to achieve. WORLD AIDS DAY 2021
Did you know today marks the 40th year since the first person was diagnosed as HIV+?
On 1st December 2021, the WOMEN AND YOUTH RESOURCE CENTER (WYRC)WOMEN AND YOUTH RESOURCE CENTER (WYRC)WOMEN AND YOUTH RESOURCE CENTER (WYRC) joins the rest of the world in commemorating the selfless efforts and achievements that have been realised in the past 40 years towards combating the severity of HIV/AIDS. Special attention goes out to all those individuals who came before us and combined their efforts to ensure that the HIV onslaught remained neutralized.
Today's theme; END INEQUALITIES AND END PANDEMICS, seeks to celebrate the goals that we have scored as a team towards fighting HIV/AIDS in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Just like any other person, Persons living with HIV (PLWHIVs) have a constitutional right to Health, they have a right to play, mingle and interact with other people without being judged, discriminated or victimized, they have a right to be treated with dignity and respect.
In this years, we should therefore serve to ensure an Equitable access to vital Sexual Reproduction and Mental Health Information to all victims in order to prevent new HIV infections, maintain a healthy environment for everyone's voice and ensure zero tolerance towards Stigmatisation on PLWHIVs.
To end the HIV pandemic, let us provide a level ground in our schools, work stations, worshiping centres, recreational facilities, etc for all the vulnerable members of our community.
Remember, if you are not INFECTED, you are AFFECTED!
What are you doing to stop new HIV infections?
Do you Know your HIV/AIDS status?
