Maa Cultural week day two! Come experience the magic of the authentic maa Culture happening at Sekenani Gate

Vultures populations has drastically declined and four out of six species are considered critically endangered. Wildlife poisoning is leading to death of vultures especially in areas inhabited by pastrol communities. This happens because of human wildlife conflict being at the center of keeping livestocks and conservation. The main source of poisoning is as a result the locals poisong the carcasses with the target of wild animals that attack their livestocks.
As the results, the vulnerable vultures scavenge leading to death.
The Nature kenya in partnership with a Culture Restoration and Environment Warriors organized an outreach to sensitize the locals on the importance of vultures in biodiversity and the implications poisoning to the environment and human health. Calling upon everyone to amplify the voices and engage in wildlife conservation.
