**Picnic blankets** spread like patchwork quilts,
Lovers share strawberries and stolen kisses.
Birds compose a symphony in the treetops,

**Shadows** play hide-and-seek with the daisies,
And the old oak tree leans in for a chat.
The river sparkles, a liquid mirror,
