Here comes the first list of FINS PRIDE, FINS BLESSINGS ♥️, FINS PIONEERS!
Three of them couldn't make it to our offices so we did their applications online/virtually. They took photos using their phones/other studios, sent to us for editing/cropping!
Six others not appearing on this list, took their photos at FINS STUDIOS and they did the application themselves.
So in total we had 21 successful applicants!

Wale wa visit visa come here, read this!

My experience at the US embassy Nairobi ,today 17th of April 2014( B1B2 non immigrant visa)

We arrived at the embassy almost 6am , we queued and when time came we were ushered in by the security guards at the first security check.(by the way there are two security check points, one is manual and is situated at the gate touching the main road and the second one is inside where you are required to pass through those electric entries that detects any kind of metal and an additional mannual check before going to make another queue) after here we went through to the other side where we queued and a staff could walk around telling us how to arrange our documents and here people could ask anything they feel they need to know. It is here that your passport is scanned and a sticker sticked behind it, after this passport scanning we go sit down to wait to be ushered in. After a few minutes a number a bunch of six people are ushered in,while inside, the six of you are required to go to a certain window for finger prints and passport check after which you go back to another queue and wait to be signaled by any consular who is available.(Please note this exercise may seem tendious but it's very smooth and fast moving)
Another thing I noted is that elderly people are not allowed to stand in those queues and American citizen, they keep on asking any American citizen in the queue? If there is they are ushered in as fast as lightening.
Back to the queue waiting to be signaled by a consular, our time came and we went to window number three where an elderly mama was the one in this window.
Start of the interview;
Consular: hi how are you
We ( me and my husband) we're fine,thank you.
Consular; are you together?
We; yes
Consular; let me have your passports
We; sure here they are,while handing them over to her.
Consular; what is the purpose of your trip?
We; we answered very well and she was nodding in agreement, she even told us that the ceremony will be in Indiana,right? and we answered sure.
Consular; what do you do for a living?
We; we answered this very satisfactorily since we knew this is where our strength is and it looked that she was very impressed and asked more about our business and since we had prepared well on this all answers about anything to do with our business were convincing.
Consular; are you married?
We; Yes
Consular; do you have kids?
We; we answered and told her how many children we have.
Consular; have you ever travelled outside the country before?
Me; No
Hubby; Yes and he explained where he had traveled to before.
From this point, I saw this kamama changed her friendly face that she had worn all this time, she started typing and at some point she sacastically asked us, a husband and wife who are business people travelling for a nephew's graduation ceremony? And we confirmed yes.
She continued to type and then took our passports and inserted a pink paper and smiled to us and told us " No, I'm sorry today I'm not giving out visas"
I smiled back and told her it's okey see you next time.
On seeing we were not angry about her decision she told us I wish you all the best in your next trial.
We majestically walked out of that place with smiles on our faces and I could see how people envied us thinking that we've been given the visas.
On getting to our car I laughed out loudly because the sacastic question she asked opened another way of thinking and weighing things.
Come to think of it guys, why would the directors of a company just waste their time to attend just a mare graduation for two weeks, two weeks guys, the reason to travel and the picture we drew into her mind does not simply correlate at all.
Two weeks for business people to go somewhere just to iddle around doesn't make any sense.
A lesson I have learnt from my own experience is weigh your reason for traveling with the picture you draw of yourself. You can't draw this executive picture and then the reason to travel is this small that shouldn't be even in your bucket list 😂😂😂😂.
Another lesson is, if you don't have travel history outside your continent, it will be very hard for you to get an American visa.
Those who said they had travel history were engaged more and majority were handed visas as I watched while in the queue but for us the interview ended the moment I opened my mouth and said no.
I have decided to bring you my experience so that we may all learn from it.

I have learnt this lesson the hard way.
