I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to address a concerning issue regarding a recent purchase I made on Facebook Marketplace.
On 16/04/24, I placed an order for Dress photo attached at the price of 899/- per piece, totaling 1798/-. Additionally, we agreed on a transportation fee of 200/-. Thus, I made the payment for a total of 2000/-.
However, upon receipt of the items, I was shocked to find that the actual cost demanded was significantly higher than what was initially agreed upon. I must emphasize that this discrepancy was not due to any error on my part, but rather a miscommunication or mistake on your end. Given the circumstances, I kindly request either a full refund of the amount paid or the option to exchange the items for ones of equal value as per our initial agreement.
If this matter is not resolved promptly and satisfactorily, I will have no choice but to escalate it to Facebook Marketplace support, as well as report it on other social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Instagram, KRA, Online fraud department and any relevant consumer protection agencies.
I believe in fair and transparent transactions, and I trust that we can resolve this issue amicably. Please respond to this message at your earliest convenience to discuss further steps.
