SECRETS ABOUT S3X THAT BOTH MARRIED & UNMARRIED MEN AND WOMEN SHOULD KNOW - DR. K.N JACOB Some women need more than an hour of touch to warm up...
It is December 1, 2023. A day I’m dedicating to PRAY FOR RESTORATION.
A day comes to an end we go to sleep with an idea of what and how the next day would look like. We make plans for days, for weeks, months even years. Plans are time bound. We make plans knowing too well we have no guarantee that we will be alive, healthy or abled to carry them out. For every plan we make to succeed mambo matatu must conspire to align. OURSELVES as the dreamers, permitting CIRCUMSTANCES and the right OTHERS who are involved. We have no way to tell whether this conspiracy favors us so we make assumptions and proceed to with our choices, sometimes outright outrageous. We don’t stop. We shouldn’t stop. We must not stop. We change plans too when we feel uncomfortable with one or two of the mambos, but in the end realities dawn in on each of those plans when the time lapses. Some we consider failed, others we push forward, some we settle for a certain level of success as we celebrate those that fully succeed. Failure can be devastating especially if a plan we had anchored the ship of our other plans. We can’t stand to watch it drift away. We get stressed and many slide into depression and have to contend with its myriad of undesirable troubles. When we say SELF, CIRCUMSTANCES and OTHERS must “conspire to align”, we acknowledge the unseen power that holds that principle. That power is GOD. We MUST always invite and let God hold it all together. We are at different stages in the ex*****on of our plans, it is an 18th, 40th or 50th birthday, a 10, 25, 50 year anniversary, a “Life begins at 40” thing… or just the days and times we planned to have done a, b, c or d. We might be running out. We might be getting anxious, despairing or giving up. I dedicate today to pray for restoration. Pray for God to restore us to self where we have lost ourselves, pray for God to restore us with the right circumstances. We probably need a different weather, different politics, different location different words, systems, friends or just different people in certain places altogether. It is when you breathe out that you allow your lungs to take in the oxygen your body needs to function. Breathe out…. looong. https://www.facebook.com/share/FZSxvTTUEeRcaY7s/?mibextid=I6gGtw
on this International Men’s day, doing what a man must do doesn’t come with expectations.
The man I’ve become has earned the position of being called a father. As a dad, I wield responsibilities, sometimes some that I’m totally unfamiliar with, but are mine anyway. You see, everyday’s circumstances are different.
A lady I mentored on her talent pursuit through her university days used to call me Daddy. I had easily and naturally adopted the title owing to our relationship. After she graduated, she got a really nice job and her talent journey as a pioneer plus-size model in my Immortal Dream Talent agency was flourishing. Then she did the unthinkable. She took her life. I was among the first to be called with the news and was left with so many questions, the first being “What?” as though I hadn’t heard what I had been told. I was also told it appeared to have happened the previous night at her house so I didn’t need to ask “When?” and “Where?” so I went for the “How?”. Of all these, the nagging key question which didn’t come right up among the top but has lived on unto today was “Why?”
You see, I believe in options. I’m an expert optimist who’ll dig deep into the worst of situations to find even just a little good that I can take out. This has made me generally a happy person. I am. I work hard to understand circumstances. I often ask “WHAT’S THE WORST THAT CAN HAPPEN?” while cognitively of the fact that IT COULD HAVE BEEN WORSE! On the matter above, I imagined (still do) many things that could have been options before this worst happened but had no way of delivering them in time. Acceptance ended up being my settlement.
With acceptance I was able to let it be. As a result I was able to see the good times we had had with my mentee daughter and even recognized how much I hand matured courtesy of her putting me in that Daddy position, things I’m eternally thankful to God for.
So when Pastor Steve Ndegwa at Jubilee Covenant Center asked us to read those three short verses from 1 Thessalonians 16-18 (16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.), I had so much to reflect on and to God’s glory, each crossing thought was validated by his attendance to it. For example, and these formed my :
1. I’ve on many occasions settled to pray but lacked requests, only finding me everything to thank God for. That’s God’s will, we can and should.
2. It is so hard to give thanks when things are not as we desire but then he reminded us that God who got things where they are is responsible to move them whichever way, because His faithfulness is not based on what He can do but on who He is.
3. Then that even when I’m low on prayer juice he reminded us that that’s the posture for remaining connected to God and with sustained connection we build familiarity therefore can better navigate through our turbulent times.
In it all, we have a call to the attitude of gratitude IN everything, even as we approach Thanksgiving Day.

A year is just but a bigger circle than a month, day, hour and a minute; time enough to execute longer term goals. Some need 2, others 5, a decade or more. Don’t be afraid or shy to set, keep setting and resetting them according to the size of the cycle they fit in. Dare be rationally ambitious and move strictly at your your pace, making the necessary adjustments to adapt to changes beyond your control. Resist being swayed off your course by the opinions of others. They are out pursuing their own goals. If it doesn’t feed your dreams it’s eating into them. The judgment of you is passed on evidence of perception even by the blind. Absorb it and move on after all you know they saw what you displayed, time will fix them. Engage only in arguments that sharpen your perspectives and learn from both the folly and wisdom of others. Child, temper your ego with humility, be firm and warm as this improves your version of yourself enough to accommodate others. Now go stay happy beyond 2023.

As I've said in other quarters, Naomi Campbell fits the bill as Kenya's International Tourism Ambassador. She loves Kenya. I did stay in a place next to her holiday abode in Kenya's Coast and she was around at the time. This thoughtful move can earn Kenya a good amount in foreign income if only political will is there and is sufficient to support the related enterprises that will ensure tourist retention and growth. As in let Kenya milk the opportunity off of what it can possibly present. Fashion world, Brand Kenya, Environment, Culture, Entertainment... I'm talking to you.
According to Image Consultant Tony Chirah, image plays at the very psychological arena before flowing down to what is seen outwardly.
"A man, secure in and with his image is confident, at ease and even to a little extent proud."
