My Journey: And Why It Matters to You

If you’re reading this, I know one thing for sure—you’re looking for something more. Maybe you’ve been trying to make money online, maybe you’ve been struggling to break through, or maybe you’re just tired of not seeing the success you deserve. Trust me, I’ve been there.

I started my online journey back in 2005, trying to make my mark in affiliate marketing with a company called SFI. I was eager, hopeful, but I’ll be honest—the success I wanted didn’t come easily. In fact, it didn’t come at all, at least not at first. SFI was a learning experience, not a win, and after that, I tried several other ventures that promised the world but delivered very little.

You know that feeling, right? When you put in all the work, all the effort, but the results just don’t show up? That was me for years. It felt like no matter what I did, success kept slipping through my fingers. But here's the thing—I didn’t quit. And neither should you.

My Turning Point—And Yours

Everything changed for me in 2015 when I found a new way forward as a content writer. I landed a contract writing for over 300 Canadian companies. For the next four years, I poured my heart into it, writing nearly 2 million words. And then, as if life wasn’t challenging enough, the company shut down in 2019.

It was a tough year for me. On January 31st, 2019, my wife of 25 years passed away suddenly. Losing her was the hardest thing I’ve ever faced, and on top of that, I lost my contract with the Canadian client shortly after. It felt like life was unraveling around me.

But then, something unexpected happened.

In 2021, I was headhunted by WriterAccess, a leading content marketing firm, and for the first time in a long while, things started to look up again. Over the next few years, I wrote another 2 million words and rose to the rank of Guru Writer. Thanks to this work, I made enough money to build my dream family home in Kiambu—a clear sign that online work really does pay off when you find your stride.

Why I’m Telling You This
