The NGCS students and staff are on practicum mission this week to two regions of South Nyanza and One location in Sotik. This is Rabuor and Ndhiwa areas for South Nyanza and Siriat for Sotik. Pray that a great learning will engulf the students and that some fruits may be brought into the house of the LORD.

A new director for extension programs has been identified. Once all logistics are settled we will announce his name. The person will be taking over from Charles Ngoje who resigned to take over leadership at the Winyo Christian Academy and mission centre.
Hermeneutics class kicks off at Kambakia Training Center -Meru tomorrow (May 20 -25, 2012) at both Advanced and Basic Certificate Levels. Former Kenyans missionaries to Mbulu Tanzania -Jacob Randiek of winyo and David Busienei of Eldoret will be teaching!
NGCS announces THREE positions of employment. Applications should reach the Principal on or before 25th May, 2012. 1. NGCS Extension Program Director. Qualifications -Ngcs graduate, Degree holder in Bible or related courses, has been engaged in extension training programs and ble to teach at main campus. 2. Accountant: qualifications CPA II with two years experience in related field. 3. Grounds man. Qualifications Certificate in a technical subejct. all must be practising Christians and able to work in a team.
Extension Committee Meeting is on tomorrow April 12, 2012 at the school as from 10 am. All Coordinators are invited. We will take care of your fares so bring bus tickets please. Also well tabulated reports/returns is required. For those who double as NGCS BOD members be prepared to spend the night at NGCS for the meeting of the Board the following day, April 13, 2012.
Richard Chepkwony, a government Chief, an alumni of NGCS and directorof Kilon Bible School, was elected the new hairman to the Board of Directors of Siriat Bible School replacing David Sambu, who has gone to be with the LORD. This was done at a serious Board Meeting held yesterday March 16, at the school. May God bless him in his new role.
The Kenyan Church (Churches of Christ) is mourning the passing on of elder David Sambu of Silotwet Church of Christ, Kericho. David was the chairman to the board of directors of Siriat Bible School. He will be laid to rest on Friday 2nd March, 2012 at his home. Please keep his family in prayers during this difficult time.
Siriat Bible School (our extension center) will hold their 13th graduation ceremony on 18th February, 2012 beginning 10 am. All are welcome
2012 has kicked off well at NGCS with 13 students enrolled. We believe more will still be coming in. Know of one who needs this training? Point them to us.

Thanking God for the well attended Spiritual Formation Seminar at CMM. It was life changing and we thank God for Dr. Hilton Merritt and Dr. David Wray!
Extension Schools Committee meeting ended yesterday very well with great deliberations and outstanding resolutions reached. We left determined to better our best at the satellite schools of Nairobi Great Commission School. And today the school's main board had their end of year meeting!
Tomorrow we hold a meeting of all coordinators of the 18 centers of Nairobi Great Commission School. The meeting kicks off at 10 am.
Mogesa Bible School just completed a course on Spiritual Warfare that was taught by Stephen Owino of World Bible School and an alumni of NGCS

Stephen Owino, graduate of NGCS and follow up teacher with WBS office of Ndhiwa Township Church of Christ, is currently teaching a course on Spiritual Warfare at the Elgon Bible School. The program runs till Friday this week.
The Students are back in great spirits to learn and be able to stage a great finish at the end of the year!

Churches in Sotik area have their annual youth lectureship this weekend. It kicked off yesterday 28th July and will run into Sunday 31st July. Most NGCS alumni and NGCS Principal will be facilitating. The venue of the meeting is Siriat Bible School.
Due to unavoidable circumstances, we have put off scheduled events for August. Alumni conference has been postponed indefinitely. Also Jubilee Planners meeting has been pushed to later this year at a date that will be announced mid August. We regret any inconvenience that this may cause. We will have better meetings because we will have had humble time to prepare well. God bless you all!
Nairobi Great Commission School Extension Program
Due to low enrolment of students to NGCS Extension at Winyo and at the main campus in Nairobi, Tom Opondo -the registrar and Charles Ngoje -the program director, will be meeting with the church leaders and alumni of NGCS in the region at Homa Bay's Farmers Training Center on Saturday and beginning at 10 am. Pray that our meeting will result in many enrolling for leadership training.
Mombasa Educational Institute (Satellite school of NGCS) graduated 17 students in Bible, Tailoring and computers early June, 2011. This was their 5th graduation ceremony.
Missionary Ken Beckloff washes the feet of a new crop of leaders at an ordination ceremony at Mombasa Educational Institute. The work of a missionary is not over until he has washed the feet of 'HIS' disciples. We at NGCS congratulate Ken and Pat Beckloff for dedicated service to the Kenyan Church!
