Miss University Kenya

The organizers are noted for emphasizing the importance of charity work now a major part of the competition at regional heat level and national finals. During the last five years, the Miss University Kenya pageant alone has raised in excess of Ksh3,000,000 for various charities using the Miss Universities ‘Beauty and Purity' slogan founded by Leakey Odera, now a charity that aims to help disadvantaged children across Africa.
